There’s 3 ancient cores in shrines that you can get early two of them are really simple basically just walk in and get them the other is in a long shrine with quite a few enemies I think it’s called tempered power or something like that it’s in the little cove on the side of the road by the tower you climbed…There’s one along the path to the riverside stable and I think there’s one under the bridge that takes you to the desert you can reach it by gliding from the frozen part of the plateau
@@QuinBoBin You may want to look it up, because I think Tempered Power is a giant ancient core. Still useful, but not for stasis upgrade. Plus, to get it you have to smack that ball into the platform. The one across the water with the E pillar and other pillars. A nemesis shrine.

It’s the one with the laser you can PICK UP though no one can explain how we were to know that (yes, I’m still salty). There’s a core in there and maybe a gem?

Lynels actually don't care if they see you. They will only get aggressive if you pull out a weapon. You can get pretty damn close to them and they will not care

No, don’t sell the ancient screws and other parts! You can use it to upgrade armor! You’re gonna want some armor upgrades for the permadeath challenge.
If you're only allowed to use 1 fairy and 1 mipha's grace you are going to NEED to upgrade your armor. Also the Champion's Tunic you get from Impa is SO good!
Permadeath was the best ever idea for a series, cause this was arguably the funniest botw video from Quin XD, love it, excited for the next episodes :)

So, it appears he must scavenge for the clothes on his back… for now, hopefully. Attempting to stealth around Guardians with no stealth armor is… problematic, to say the least. Some may consider it conceited to believe that Quin purposely cut *Korok 7’s* clip (0:57) to avoid showing me, specifically, the exact number of koroks he’s at. Of course, sensing one’s incoming demise brings out the worst in all of us, and this is just the kind of spite I expect from the small green man. Putrid. Absolutely despicable behavior. Then again, Quin is under quite a bit of stress. The aura of raw anxiety he emits by simply walking through a field at night is enough to awaken a nearby Guardian _from the dead,_ just to justify his fears. And, Hylia be damned, he’s gained a whole new array of phobias. Nevertheless, with boundless courage, Quin manages to nab a fourth spirit orb, earning him yet another heart without having to inform us through a _loading screen._ Of course not; what information is only available through a loading screen that any viewer would be interested in? Due to unrelated circumstances, Quin’s shield breaks and he falls flat on his face (very humorous). Off to the _Exchange Ruins,_ Quin finds his headpiece of his favorite clothing set and what could be Korok 8 (but who knows?). Blowing his extremely limited funds on a scarf he’ll never use is a worthwhile exchange for a funny little hood. A few meters north(?), he also digs up some much-needed pants for his adventure, minding the constant threat of death around every corner (irl). _Ah, but the tower… it’s right there, no?_ Forgoing any thoughts of safety or caution, Quin begins walking directly to the Central Hyrule Tower in broad daylight under minimal cover. Don’t worry! The series is only two episodes long so far; Binkus’s got Plot Armor. :) …After “remembering” (read: looking up) the location of the Phantom Helmet, Quin fast travels - _and we’re at 10 koroks, haha!_ - while looking on the bright side: he’s looking very handsome. Better to die looking your best than to live ugly, that’s our philosophy for the run. Despite saying he’s confident enough in a full suit of armor to protect him from benign shrine puzzles, he - for mysterious reasons - appears to be actively avoiding the shrine above Kakariko Village. He may have +3 attack for as long as he wears his armor, and that shrine may just be a harmless test of combat tricks, but for as long as that thing inside has the mere _potential_ to _possibly_ injure him to _any degree,_ he fully plans to avoid it until the end of time. There’s a fine line between caution and outright paranoia, and Quin is no circus performer (unless you count a clown). Nevertheless, Quin’s heathbar has been doubled, ensuring that if he were to encounter one (1) bokoblin - preferably red - in a tight spot with no chance of escape, his brain _may_ pick Fight over Freeze. *Such hope concludes our (mis)adventures for today.* *Today’s Korok Count: 1 (maybe 2?)* *Total Korok Count: 10/900*

I’m genuinely scared for this permadeath because when this video popped up on my recommended I was watching a quin botw vid where he consistently died by wind bombing inside vah naboris and even if he doesn’t do that it took him 6 attempts to hit the camels Yeezys and he kept dying and I’m a bit concerned for him best of luck quin keep it up! I discovered this channel about a month ago and it's been great to watch Quin discover BOTW, it's one of my favourite games. This is the first time I'm all caught up! I love this channel.
The broken guardians don't normally drop ancient cores. There is an exception to this. If it doesn't have legs and you can raise it with an ice block, it'll drop more than one part and sometimes this includes a core. Off the top of my head I know of two shrines relatively close to the start of the game that give you cores in chests: there is the one between the Great Plateau and the central tower in Hyrule field (which has a lot of good chests) and there is the one over by the lady who is accidentally making smoke signals because she can't cook a meal to save her own life. She's higher up to the south west of the plateau.
I'm playing BotW for the first time and also watching what you're doing as I'm going through it. I didn't want to spoil the story for myself but wanted to see someone else play it, and your playthrough allow me to do just that. So thanks!
I had this thought in my head for a while watching this series. This is not pointed directly at QuinBoBin or meant to be negative. But I've been thinking, what stops youtubers who record but not stream these permadeath runs, to simply cut out the moment they died in the video, and pretend it didn't happen and keep going :D It's an interesting thought. I wish the game had a permadeath mode built into it, or there was a permadeath mod or something, to counter this. Love the series though, thanks for providing us with great times as always. You have inspired me to try a permadeath series too!

I struggle with Master mode because early on everything breaks before you can kill anything, the fact you're doing permadeath in master mode is insane in itself. I think Mipha's grace and other health aids would be acceptable.

I always do thunderblight first so I can get the thunder helm and not have to worry about getting struck by lightening and can carry on with my business
My favorite way to cheese the Hateno apparatus shrine is to turn it 90 degrees counterclockwise, so the exit is pointing towards you. Then when the ball spawns in, it'll drop in the same row as the exit, and you then can just twist it back. That way you skip the maze, but you still have guardrails to line up the final launch.
Stealth tip: Anything you have to sneak up on, it's best to do it at night in the rain. Nothing can hear you! BOTW was my first big girl game, and I was terrified of everything, so I stealthed for my first 150 hours.

I sat for the faries, you could try only holding one at a time, that way you can refresh it if you die stupidly but you aren't able to just stock up on a ton, keeps the tension
Heres a tip about guardians in master mode so most guardians shoot after the little light in there eye but on master mode they shoot whenever as long as the light in the eye was active

iirc this only works with stasis+ (since only that can freeze enemies)

Stealth tip: Anything you have to sneak up on, it's best to do it at night in the rain. Nothing can hear you! BOTW was my first big girl game, and I was terrified of everything, so I stealthed for my first 150 hours.

I sat for the faries, you could try only holding one at a time, that way you can refresh it if you die stupidly but you aren't able to just stock up on a ton, keeps the tension

Heres a tip about guardians in master mode so most guardians shoot after the little light in there eye but on master mode they shoot whenever as long as the light in the eye was active
with thunder blight i recommend rubber armor full set level 2
