Then we see how he deals with his relationship with the other guy and how the black guy is trying to break up with the bartender, but he loves him. At the end, the principal guy ends running away from his wedding and Danna loves him so much that she said "I want you to be happy even if is with... Him" and she goes back to the ocean. The song have a lot of wordsplay, salt in Spanish is "sal" which also is "come out" so when she says "sal, sal conmigo a bailar" she's saying: "Come, come with me to dance" but also she is encouraging the guy to come out of the closet he is in. Also, "tanto odio me sabe a sodio" means "so much hate, it tastes like sodium (salty)" and this mean how she deal with the hate her boyfriend deals with his own hate at himself.

I've always thought that the song is named "Sodio" and mentions the word "salt"(as in "sal, este amor sabe a sal" which means "salt, this love tastes like salt") cuz in Spanish(or at least in Mexico) there's this expression "estar salado"("being salty") that means you have bad luck or you are unlucky in a certain aspect. In this case Danna is pretty unfortunate in this love/relationship she's living. But just a thought. Not sure she actually meant that

Is that she fell in love but the guy was confused did not accept his homosexuality and that is why he was with both and was gonna Marry her but at the end she told him I prefer your happiness even if it’s not with me but with him.
