The men's 4-way tag was the match I had the least expectations for and was most pleasantly surprised by. I really liked it.
It was really good with some great spots. Gable and Ricochet shined bright!

Night 1 was good. Night 2 I can't wait for that review.
Night 2 was also great. The only things you can really complain about are Demon Bálor being a little goofy and Reigns retaining which no matter what way you look at it wasn't the logical decision from a storytelling perspective.
But yes, Night 1 was fantastic and still better than Night 2.

First you had Brock vs Omas which put everyone to sleep, followed by an absolute ocean of flipping women in yellow jumpsuits doing nothing but weak looking spots. Gunther's triple threat match was 20 minutes of chops/punching and 5 actual moves. Bianca/Asuka was ok but would've way better without Will Smith's kids and Doink makeup. Shane McMahon...really? You like that? Wow. Then you have the worst Hell in a Cell match ever and the worst Wrestlemania swerve ever. Night 2 was basically trash from top to bottom.
I just can’t wait to see Jim’s & Brian’s reaction to Vince’s look.

Domenick impressed me so much. What great entrances and match. Rhea vs Charlotte was the best match of the night, though; what a classic.
It’s obvious the Rey & Dom match is also a build for Backlash.
Rey & Bad Bunny vs Dom & Priest.
Backlash is in PR, Bad Buddy is Puerto Rican, Priest is Puerto Rican aswell. That’s gonna be huge for them to do especially out there. Especially for a Latino population

Rhea vs Charlotte made me stand up on my bed with my fists in the air cheering. A wrestling match hasn’t made me do that since I was 12. Rhea is an absolute treasure and Charlotte was incredible as well
I really hope that the fact that Rhea got the Smackdown women's title, and the fact that JD didn't mess with her match with Charlotte is a sign that they're getting her away from Judgment Day. She's just too good for them. I think they're going to drag her down. I know it could never happen, and Rhea would have to change the goth queen gimmick, but I would LOVE to see her with Gunther and Imperium. Just even as a one time thing, doesn't have to be a whole thing, but once for a special occasion. I think Rhea and Gunther's intensity would be off the charts. Especially if those two are now being set up to represent the company, which I believe that's the case.

@@crissy4346 I disagree, she keeps JD as a legitimate threat especially after Finn lost the cell match. I've loved their whole storyline since last summer and it's mainly because of her work with Dominik. Keep Priest as the heavy, give him some big wins and some momentum, and I guess kick out Finn if you have to.
Then you don't watch a lot of wrestling, or you may be in love with Rhea, match was great but cmon we all knew she was gonna win and it's not her first title winn so why pop that hard

Night 1 was amazing. Matches such as Rey vs. Dom and Usos vs. Owens/Zayn had strong long-term builds. The matches had a lot of energy and the right people went over.
I can't wait for night 2 review.

I think Rhea v Charlotte was supposed to be the main event, based on all the posters, but the Sami storyline was just too hot, and frankly, the ladies didn't build their program very well.
But once that bell rang, gawdam... They let the world know.

no offence but i don't understand when people do this, 8 and 10 out of 10, night one was THE BEST event you've ever seen? or ever been? it was decent, a solid 7 for sure, but 10? and then 8 for a really slow and dull night two? maybe a 4 out of 10.
there was stuff on both nights that wasn't good and difficult to get through, how do you come to 8 and 10 out of 10?

Night 1 is legendary.

A very great Saturday event. Ripley winning championship belt and Zayn/Owens winning tag team belts was exactly what fans wanted. Those who may have bought the tickets for Saturday only surely did not miss much, lol.
Charlotte & Rhea was an amazing match, but it didn’t have the same build unfortunately as the tag team match. The tag team match had so much emotion, the back & forth promos, the betrayals, etc. I just wish there weren’t so many superkicks in the match though. Too many false finishes from big moves get to be too much

I’m surprised he doesn’t call Ripley out for how she delivers the rip tide to anyone over 100lbs. She can barely pick them up, like charlotte, and just kinda struggles to get them to waist height then flips them down. She should be picking them up over her chest and slamming them down otherwise the move looks weak. Also she sells every move the same. Arches her back like crazy and flops around like a fish no matter where it impacted her. She’s good just has some holes I’m surprised king hater Jim Cornette doesn’t mention.

I Stan for Rhea so bad lol the intensity in her eyes, her facial expressions, body language always in character. the way she sung her theme song after the match cuz she believes in every lyric in it. You can just tell she's hungry and wants to prove she's the best. Charlotte was amazing too

Whenever I say you can have a wrestling match with real drama and emotion in it, people rarely believe me. If I could, I’d show them that Charlotte Vs Rhea match, with the build-up package beforehand. The whole thing, with the reactions afterwards - Rhea taunting her, Charlotte’s pained smiling. Nothing is perfect, but it was damn good

I don't know if I'm the only one that notices, but false finishes are becoming way too common.
Seems like there's way too many close-ups of wrestlers with surprised looks after a 2 count .
One match in particular I kept seeing the surprised look after not getting a 3 for just doing a basic move.
Just sitting there with this stupid surprised look on their face.

Night 1 was great.
Night 2 was lackluster but the main event would've put the Night over.
As it is I think we got an A show on Saturday and a C show at best on Sunday.
Really gotta give it to theory. First Austin, then Cena .

Honestly it was one of the highlights. I'm disappointed Corney didn't give it a chance.
Night One was near perfect, one of the best Manias of all time. It blows my mind how badly they dropped the ball on Night 2. The weakest match of Night 1 was Damage CTRL vs Lita/Trish and Becky and most of that falls on Lita. Damage CTRL is pretty much DOA. The Tag team Showcase ended up being far better than anyone expected. KO/Sami and Usos, plus Rhea/Charlotte were both Match of the Night.

Rhea needs to learn how to sell. She kept being fresh no matter what Charlotte did to her.
I could not even understand the Bad Bunny spot, and I thought it was pointless and maybe only used to sell tickets to Backlash in PR. But IMO it was a shitty finish to a phenomenal match.
Really all in all, I had expressed every single one of Jim’s opinions before I listened to this.
I thought the Charlotte vs Rhea match was one of the best matches I have ever seen. It was a thing of beauty. While I enjoyed the tag title match, this match was absolutely better.
WrestleMania 39 as a whole was the best it's been in years. Probably in the last 5-7 years as a whole. Night 1 easily outperformed Night 2 in my opinion. Favorite Entrance was Rey Mysterio's and my favorite Matches were Rhea/Charlotte and Men's IC Title Match.

def night 1 was the better show. there was probably a little more to talk about for night 2, but the wrestling and all the right endings came from night 1 as well the stuff i mostly cared about. honestly, if they had cut all the cruft out of night 1 (even that awful 6 woman tag team match despite having 4 actual stars), cut down on entrance lengths and just brought over the Roman vs Cody match (despite the ending), this would've been one of the best WMs i've seen in a long time. i'd even throw in the cameo by Shane just for actual laughs (hear that shane? that's father time telling you to never do this again!)
my friend liked the Gunther match too but i got bored at some point. just felt long, repetitive and pointless, even if Gunther has been great. just not a lot to write home about and i was already tired from watching night 1.
Im agree although im not mad about the cody roman result. It just seemed too quick and disney fairy tale-ish for cody to come in and win at WM after just debuting in the rumble. I get everyone is tired of roman’s reign but if he cracks 1000 days its gonna just put cody over even more when he beats him. Just my opinion

I think people just assumed Cody was winning at mania because usually who wins the RR wins the belt at WM.

Rhea vs Charlotte was great but was not nearly as good as Sasha vs Bayley’s ironwoman match. I only say that cause Brian said it was the best women’s match in NA ever.
Rhea/Charlotte was one of my most anticipated matches on the card behind Cody/Roman and Rey/Dom and it blew me away. Best women’s match I’ve ever seen easily, best match at WM39 easily, no women’s match will top it for years. Not even Rhea and Charlotte in a rematch. They caught lightning in a bottle. I don’t use this word often but this match was fantasy levels of good. I couldn’t have had a dream of a better women’s wrestling match.
Cena vs theory match proves what Brian being saying about cena and the STF 😂. Horrible chin lock
Rhea and Charlotte stole night 1 and wrestlemania overall. Disliked the main event since it was turning too much of a AEW styled match. Overkill, no sell/registering at times, too many kick outs, ref doesn't matter etc

Idk she seems like Charlotte meets Carmella….why does the main roster even need her??? At least until those two are gone she’ll make no sense and be a direct copy….she should wait another 2 years
