Great podcast! Thank you 🙏 Margaret has always been one of my favourite Tudor figures, quite underrated. A rollercoaster life, one that saw much disappointment and sadness. But as mentioned here, it's Margaret's line that grew, prospered and still exists to this day 👑 🌹 👑
Thank you for an insightful conversation about one of the lesser known and understood women leaders of the 16th century 👏❤️ #queenship #16thcentury #tudor #Stuart #MargaretTudor #LindaPorter #talking Tudors 👸
Thank you to you both. The book sounds wonderful. Must admit, the first thing I said was “ is it a fortnight already?” Do you think that the reason Margaret was so impelled to have it know that she was the mother of the king could have been the influence of her grandmother , Margaret Beaufort? After all, Margaret was so compelled to have her position known because of her son, Henry V11? Also, it was Margaret Beauforts influence that Margaret of Scotland was not sent to Scotland at 12. She fought To keep her in England till 14, I think because of her dreadful experience as a young girl. Thank you again 🙏🙏👵🇦🇺
