  • 'We have to accept that high immigration is with us for the foreseeable future.'
Speaking on immigration in the UK, Nigel Nelson says none of the political parties really have an answer to how they're going to solve the problem.

If I go to live anywhere in the world I have to prove I can support myself and have health insurance and prove I will not be taking up any form of benefits. Yet here anyone comes in and immediately starts getting housing benefits, in work benefits, using our schools, hospitals, dentists, doctors…….

Exactly right! I researched going to live in Mexico and it was far more difficult to get into Mexico than it is to get into the UK.
I've also looked at Canada and New Zealand.
Eventually I managed to get into Japan but was forced to return to the UK when Covid hit.

That's because you have a weak passport . If you had a more powerful passport : Sudan . Somalia , Eritrea , Congo , Malawi , Bangladeshi , etc , etc , you could immigrate anywhere and be welcomed with open arms by the west with all paid for . But then the UN spent years organising it , and then getting western countries to sign up to the convention on human rights . Your friend Boris signed up .

UK has been very naive in immigration policies and made no effective changes for decades. Immigrants are different, how to differentiate them, what ethic group tends to pay what level of tax, claim what level of benefit should be studied and published! The government should make practical policies changes accordingly. These are all common sense! No rocket science! The politician spent so much time debating just to satisfy themselves, do the big talks, muddle the lines between concepts. A lot of them got confused of the real matter, get lost in their own debate.

None should arrive. No one in the UK voted to open their border to millions of third world country immigrants. There was never a referendum on migration! It effects the local native populations of the British isles, it dilutes the local religion and cultures. It threatens the very British and English nature of the country. This goes back to the 1960's and 1950's, that's when the country decided to open its borders without any control.
