    I just never merge my layers out of fear that I'll need to edit them later. And I always do

    • @Qwizz
      @Qwizz  ปีที่แล้ว +10

      "dont merge your layers" shouldve been its own tip honestly

    • @UwUMaceTLOF

      @Qwizz I feel like a better piece of advice is have an unmerged copy alongside your merged copy

    • @Qwizz
      @Qwizz  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@UwUMaceTLOF yeah, it might take a while to do that so it's better to just leave them unmerged imo until your client gives you the okay and then you can merge them to your heart's desire.
      you can also incrementally save as a psd/procreate file as you draw if you have trouble with that!

    when I was on DA many years ago, I would sell full scenes for 1 point (and only 2 people bought em)

    About taking payment, you can also take half upfront, work on the sketch, and then take the other half before you finish it! You're still making sure you get paid for the work you do, but the client might also be more reassured by this too. You can even set this up with Paypal invoices afaik

    Excellent advice as always Qwizz! Back in the Stello era I always worried about how low your prices were and I wish I’d spoken up at the time, glad to see you’re a lot more experienced now!

    When I got help from my sister she rose the prices pretty damn high in robux but in reality in actual money was dirt cheap 💀 I am thinking about the possibility of gift cards bc I can't make real money that I can hold in my hand. So ig maybe e gift cards could be a way.

    • @Qwizz

      try steam! you could have people gift you steam games as payment, or, if they have a steam gift card, give you a gift card code!
      its more reliable because when you redeem a steam gift card itll go to your steam wallet, rather than other gift cards only being redeemable at checkout. you can verify it's a real code and accept payment beforehand that way

      @@QwizzThanks! I appreciate the help but I don't use steam. I only have a crusty laptop that can't run fnaf, so I may find other options! Thank you so much for the help :3

    I want to open commissions, but I have no idea where to start. I'm 13 and I don't even know how to make a paypal account so idk where to start with commissions 💀 I guess I can figure it out later thought because I still need to practice certain things I can't draw well that il have to. Such as paws, shading etc.
