Thank you. I did not know about the compound intervals but the way you explained was very helpful. Thank you. I feel more confident about reading intervals moving forward. 😀
Never knew it worked that way with calculating minor/Major/diminished and so on. I could just name the interval by number. It's actually very logical but thanks for explaining that! So if i continue that thinking, the interval from C to Abb would be a dimished 6th, right?

Hello. What if there was a key signature. Would you still go in the major of the bottom note
Whatever the lower note is go with that. So if F# is in the key signature and the lower note is F# calculate in F# major
