Love your trailer sir. My only recommendations are first I would add a wireless winch controller too your winch and use the cabled one for backup purpose. would make loading easier. the second is weld on some D-ring shackles or even mount an etrax system to give it some more strapping locations. the final thing i would do is in your open center location. add a storage box for straps, chains and tie-downs. really more just some accessorizing ideas. Otherwise like i said awesome trailer sir. cant wait for you to post plans. I like to build one for hauling my four wheelers. the easy on easy off functionality would be awesome.
I've been looking into converting my single axle track car trailer to a system like this since I first saw the same trailer you showed in the first video. Waiting patiently for the plans... my trailer needs this.
Working has I wrote this comment on the drawings.
Thank you for a nice build and for NOT showing how you drilled 473 holes and put in each one of the 473 screws. Straight and succinct, good.
Glad you appreciated it! 👍
Ok this took me back 25 years or so! (Aging Minitrucker!) Build me one too! Seriously!
Yep!! good old mini trucks! But I can't build you one...my wife won't let me! 😅
Hey Vine B. I'm readly liking your channel. I stumble across your channel and I think it's a great channel with good content you must keep up the good work and coming up with some good ideas and show us how you did it. Great job, thank you for sharing with us. Im way down in Tennessee. You are very inspiring, it makes me to get up to use "hands and mind" something like that..
Thanks again and I will watching more too.
Thanks a lot Sir Tony! Glad it inspired you! 😁
Freaking EPIC. Can't believe this video is currently under 10k views
Hey Buddy! Actually, if it can get more views ONCE I'm done with the drawings...I would prefer it! 🤷♂️! Glad you enjoyed it Austin!
Tandem axle car hauler would be amazing! Love your build man 🇺🇸
Thanks man!
Rewelacja - świetna robota... 👋👍
Wish I was clever like you. Brilliant Job.
Thanks Phil! 👍
Great project! I’ve been thinking about building a 2 axle like this! Looking forward to getting a set of plans once they are available!
Nicely Done!!
thanks Bryan!
That is an awesome trailer design for cars. If you have ever tried to tow a low vehicle or classic on a trailer it's damn near impossible to get it off without scraping the pipes or the frame of the car bottoming out. Hands down this is awesome. Of course heavier cars would need four swing arms versus the two for this build but even with that saying just on design and execution for purpose, I give you a solid thumbs up brother. 😁👍
you really perfect man...very good workin
Thanks man! 👍
Hi mate from down under i'd be interested in what you come up with for a dual axle and if i can buy ur plans when they are available
Great work! Can't wait for the plans
Working on it right now!
Where can plans be bought?
@Viny B - I've watched all four of your trailer build videos. Great job.
A cheap and somewhat easy way to keep the airbags in better alignment when aired down or when fully loaded is to bolt a 'suspension limiting strap', (a glorified seat belt with steel reinforcement loops), to the top of the airbag and mount the other end somewhere near the axle. This will help keep the airbag from rolling forward and prematurely wearing the top of the airbag out.
On Amazon, they start out at $13 U.S.D. and run to $50 + U.S.D., or you can make them out of seat belts from an auto salvage yard if you have access to a sewing machine with a blue jean or leather rated needle and thread.
@Viny B - J'ai regardé vos quatre vidéos de construction de remorques. Bon travail.

Really impressed by all your work ! Well done!
Thanks man!!!! On crinque l'algorithme!!!!
Great video man 💯👍
Ryan, my man!! Thanks dude! 👍
Hey man! I love what you do! I think your projects are very interesting. Thanks for posting your workmanship and keep up the great work!
I hope the plans will be available soon :) I’m hoping that the CNC’d parts could be cut using the send cut send service that is available at most machine shops.
Should be out by the end of this week, at the worst next week. About the sendcutsend, first time I heard about it, but I'll include all the DXF files to cut the parts!
AMAZING
You are next level
Big thanks!
👍👍👍 great job
Awesome Awesome Job dude.. I just TILTED MY HAT..
Think a shroud around the air bags would be helpful.
It helps with air ride to have a slave tank. Air has a rising spring rate. Adding more volume will help.
That a good thouht! Maybe I will not close the 2 valves and do some testing. I'll have to be carefull to balance well the weight from left to right since both bags will be connected together.
sweet build bud, i would say mabye build a cover or blocker for the air bars so rocks or other trash wouldnt slap a hole in them
Out of curiosity, how much did the materials cost? I am trying to decide if I want to purchase or build. I have all of the equipment already. Great project and videos! Thanks
It costed me about 2800USD.
Hay vinyl B ...do u sell any of the planes of your work on the smart car..where do I get them
HOW TH F*** YOU DONT HAVE A MILLION SUBSCRIBERS IS BEYOND ME!!! Keep up the great channel.
Just started...yell 1.5 years ago...there a lot of good content on TH-cam...so I'm getting there...but slowly! Thanks for the encouragement! 👍👍👍
How much if a pain was it to get legal? What state were you going through to get it done?
Someone should convert boat trailers to drop like this. I know if I could lower mine just 3 inches I could park it in my garage.
Great trailer, but wtf happened to the smart?
Bad ass!
Thanks man! I heard you,re gonna have a new ''neighbor'' ( I don't really know how far appart Auston property is from yours 😅)
@@VinyB57 yeah. There goes the neighborhood.... he’s about 30 min away or so.
Is there a way to "pin" the trailer to keep it from going below a minimum height while still having full suspension, asking in case an air line or bag was to fail while in use.
Good job máster donde puedo descargar los planos ? Thanks

What are the main tools you have in your home machine shop? Here is the list I've come up with so far:
- Air Compressor
- Saws (both wood and metal)
- Welders (electric and torch)
- Laser cutter
- CNC Machine
- Milling machine
- Band saw
- Metal Break? (Is this for just bending sheet metal?)
- Metal Lathe
- Drill Press
- Gantry Chain hoist
- Cherry Picker hoist
- Hydraulic Press
- Table Saw
Did I miss anything? Would love to see a video of your shop
Solar power a bit overkill ?
Hey how much in material did this cost you? Also great job.. very detailed
2200USD, without compressor, winch and battery, just the trailer
@@VinyB57 thanks for replying back. That's really not bad. As a home build, it would be difficult. The pieces you used with the cnc plasma would be hard to duplicate. Your plans provides a cut-out guide? Or would we need to find someone to do this part of the build. Love your videos and channel. Keep it up
I know you haven't got the plans up yet, but can you share any info on what you used for the pivots for the swing arms?
It's a secret....for now...You'll get all the infos in the plans soon...ish ! 😅😁
I want to do something like this to my enclosed 7x 14 single axle ... do you have plans out yet??

you looking to sell this or build one to sell?
LOL, they are for sale in Australia. Better build as well.
How much do you think it could tow?
2300lbs has it is...with another 3500 axle, you could had a good 3200 lbs so close to 5500lbs in the double axels configuration.
I’m impressed , great job , you could sell them ? I had a question
LAST video if you could make me a pair of side vents like you made on the smartbusa , I still can’t find anything that would work for me ! Viny could you let me know either way , I know you’re busy and I will pay you by PayPal Thanks. Alan
Alan....I'll be glad to help...but for now, with all the engagements I already have, I have to decline 100% of all the side jobs that people like you are offering me, maybe one day, TH-cam will pay enough that I could do only that with side jobs. But thank you for the oportunity my friend! Sorry I mist your question on the last video.
@@VinyB57 THANK YOU FOR RESPONDING AND I DO UNDERSTAND !!
Hey Viny, what has happen..... are pepole crazy.....looking at your canal... why??? Jocking aside what took pepole sssooooooooo lllllllooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggggg, but some of them are here now! I will say what, Im a pretty smart man, you are alot smarter, when me ok many pepole are smarter when me, but in this case I have been a suber since around 3 years.... then I have to bee alot smarter then the about 7-9000 subs in the last mounth......... YOU HAVE NOW PASSED 13000 SUBS MUST FELL LIKE WINNING THE WOMEN OLYMPIC SOCCER GOLD OVER SWEDEN, YES, YOU CANNADIENS VS ME SWEDEN! IM HAPPY FOR YOU AND HOP YOU GET MORE! GRATTS FROM SWEDEN!
Tony...that was a good one! 😂 Don't know what happen, maybe people did get confused with another channel..🤦♂️ Seriously, the time lapse on the smart went viral for a week...so yeah, new subs and that's kinda a bit of a relief, I've been working really hard on that channel and sometimes, it's nice when it gets some attention! You sure you've been subed for 3 years...I only starded less then 2 years ago...😅🤔 Keep up the colorfull comments man, I enjoyed it!
@@VinyB57 I will, and I was seen the second part of the Smartbuza and beacuse I missed the first... but I vill also remember that I saw the carlift, ok I think you hade 11- 1250 subscribers then I signdup......
How much if u were to sell one ..12 ft bed? Double axel
hummm good question, don t know about 6-7k for a single axle
@@VinyB57 not bad about the price but i forgot that it would still be tilted if it was hitched to a vehicle? So in order for this to be completely flat to the ground is for it to be unhitched?
Wait what happened to towing it with a rusty gold van? Lol
can I get a drawing?
Yes go to my website, design57.ca
Nice but overkill. With the weight of the frame n wood your trailer probably 1000lbs alone
You re 100% right!! It s overkill and I like my builds to be overkills! I can rely on it and with a proper maintenace it will last decades! All hail overkill! 😅
Drawing for me pleass.
