In the season four opener, a band of mercenaries, led by The Cardinal and Brass Hound, are hired by a mysterious entity to raid Trap God's abode and destroy the mythical Stones of Ponderance. However, in order to tell that story, one must first explain how this dysfunctional band came to fruition. A winding tale of familial trauma, betrayal, and too many loose ends, this fast-paced adventure, told in disordered fragments, sets the groundwork for even more mayhem to come.
Lacking a head deity due to Breadmold's sacrifice, the Multiverse no longer has clear-cut heroes and villains.
