Nothing and if it was wrong kelly would have been penalized, not Shane. But plain and simple, kelly caught Shane slippin.

Anybody ever realized that Kelly has like a size 13 shoe size. Think that helps his balance on board. If you notice all great athletes have freakish physical features tbat help them. Like Floyd Mayweather being 5”8 with 73” arm reach. That is same reach as many 6”2 boxers. Likewise Kelly’s feet are huge for his size.
In my opinion, the boards weren't bad at drop ins, it wasn't the wave catching skills, but the flow on turns, only the man himself could look flawless on those boards, all the rest of us looked like we're struggling
