It was smart, maybe not crazy smart, but there's a huge difference when you know when to take advantage of different scenarios and exploiting every favorable trade you can get while managing your resources. It's not easy, but once you get to that point, there's a big difference on your playstyle, but it takes a lot of knowledge to do that I guess

great guide although i actually dont agree that everyone at low ranks can do the same as what youre doing tho, you know how much you can extend, how much damage you can take and give out, have more map awareness, and understanding of how the game is going than newer players do. so mechanics aside, they might still be lacking.
I think you learn that stuff by one tricking and playing aggresive. He can't explain every single matchup, but you can try playing aggresive every single game until you get to know how much damage you do and how much can they do to you.
Yeah but unlike mechanics you need to practice this game knowledge and feel for the flow of the game just comes with time. If you just spam a lot of games or watch some simple game play videos like this one and actually pay attention and soak information in then you'll get better. Solar is just talking about the fact that league is 90% smart decisions, and taking the right decisions comes to you with time.
I know that too, but the problem for me is I conclude that I need to give up early pressure for cs like half of the time because Yasuo is just not as strong early. And will never be strong into the wrong comp.

I was telling myself today that I could not play gp anymore because of how the meta changed and how it is so easy for other champs to abuse Gangplank in early but I'm getting what I'm doing wrong (not playing aggresive early) If there is one thing I don't totaly agree is that even though u don't do part combo or flash triple barrel, you have an insane awareness on where to put ur barrels exactly and your timing on destoying barrels before the ennemy is pretty impressive. And that's a mechanic that is pretty hard to master. Also, you have a very high knowledge on ennemy damage in early making ur decision much clearer whever u can or can't take a fight. I haven't seen all your videos, but until know I haven't see a video giving precises tips on how to acquire theses mechanics instead of just spamming games until u can make it. I see that your E is on quickcast with indicator so that u know what range u can put ur barrels, do you recommand that ?
i'm practicing gp and the biggest problems i'm facing is the insane creepblock that makes me cancel my autos sometimes and the fact that i find it hard to right click on barrels when there is minions around and it is a close fight.

This was really fun to watch but not as informative as I hoped it would be. It - to me - seemed like you are just mechanically better and more familiar with the matchup than your enemies. The video also shows what decisions you make but not why you do them. We nearly never discuss the matchups or the trading patterns against them, what they did wrong and what to do if they do it right. Even a lot of the macro decisions you rarely discuss why they are good. I get that the main point was to teach us that gp is actually a strong laner who can get early leads and push them, but how to actually do that - other than being mechanically better - was what I was hoping to get from this video.
