So nice to see the film, brings back many memories, Hafodyrynys Hotel still open but now Hafodyrynys Inn Challenger sold everything I worked at Llanhilleth Colliery when it closed. Best bunch of people I have ever worked with. The population is smaller due to the pit closure, that's true. There may not be as vibrant of a community as back then, but the town is a much cleaner and better looking place now though, so I guess it depends on one's definition of "neglected".
