This sounds significantly better than the reveal stream. Emily is getting better and at a fast pace, i'm very excited now for the future. Also can i say something? during points of authority for a little bit i actually felt like i was hearing chester sing and it caught me completely off guard. She's killing it.
I feel overjoyed and fulfilled. Linkin Park did an incredible job putting on a wonderful performance! Emily has proven that she is 100% fit for being the new vocalist for the band! From her ferocious, powerful screams to her high, amazing notes, she has shown that she has an amazing voice! Her haters literally have no clue what they're talking about. The rest of the band did well too! Mike with his amazing strong voice and raps, Phoenix holdin it down on the bass, Alex crushing those killer riffs for Brad, Joe being Joe LOL (and his amazing DJing abilities!), and Colin doing an outstanding job on the drums! Linkin Park is so back, and they've totally killed it! And can we talk about the setlist?????? I could go on and on about the highlights but I enjoyed seeing Points of Authority, The Emptiness Machine, The Catalyst, Castle of Glass, WHEN THEY COME FOR ME, the new rendition of Lost In The Echo!, GIVEN UP (EMILY'S SCREAMS ARE AMAZING), Lost, MY DECEMBER (THE HARMONIES AND STRIPPED DOWN VIBES WERE SO BEAUTIFUL), FRIENDLY FIRE!!, KEYS TO THE KINGDOMMMMM (YES!!!! JUSTICE FOR THP!!!! This made me so happy 😭😭😭), and all the other amazing songs and hits on this setlist. The intervals were super super cool too! Great job to the team working behind the scenes! Sincerely, thank you Linkin Park for being one of the best bands ever. I'm certain that you guys have made Chester proud and I know that y'all will continue to do a wonderful job carrying on the legacy that he helped build! That half assed version of When They Come for Me is disappointing Going from using multiple sets of drums to play it live to just having the drums from the studio version play themselves while the drummer does nothing? Lame
I seen it more like a new version of Mike mash-up solo, which works as a breather for the rest of the band tbh. Sure it would have been way better if they played the whole song like they used to (one of my absolute favorites in their discography)
Just while voicing disappointments - The song that disappointed me was Lost in the Echo, but only because I like it with root A note better than their up-pitched version. Btw - My friends and I always have a biggest disappointment discussion after seeing a show, so I respect yours. 😅
