Skratch, you are utterly too calm about this. The system is outrageous.! We had our entire city destroyed (Our 250M clan vs a 470M power clan). This is a total joke, we will forever be trying to repair all of our towers (currently like 20,000 florins). The ridiculous 1st matchup has put us in a hole we will never get out of. Even if we somehow did, all it takes is to get wiped again and we'll be repairing for months. If 2 clans are fairly balanced, they will likely wipe each other completely out. They should eliminate the repair system altogether, start with an intact city every 2 weeks.
This 100%, same thing happened to our clan. Everything destroyed, getting hardly any florins because of the hard matchup. It’s just demoralising and the wish to play more siege now is none existent.
Same here. The main problem for us will be to do anything in the Future. 20k florins to repair all buildings while the whole clan Donated only about 2.5k. thats almost 10 times the Florins we need now. and by getting almost non florins at all in the last battle, it would mean we need over half a year to repair everything when nothing else gets destroyed again, wich never gonna happen of course. dont wanna think about the time we would need to even upgrade one Building while repairing everything.
This Game mode is not balanced at all. Even the smaller lower active Clans should have a chance to get value out of this mode but its made for big high active clans.
We are a 670M clan and were matched against one of the top clans in the world - we stood no chance against 4 +4 6star awakened mythical defenses. Some of us who got in too late didn't stand a chance against the strong defenses exposed by then - so extending the shite will not make it any better, if you encounter just one defense that 90% of the clan can't touch you are in a position to lose. We already are at a big disadvantage now and it will not get better. The whole mode is a piss poor concept and I for one have already given up on doing much. I will try to get one attack win (I have one OP team that can beat many of the defenses, beyond that it's a bust) and then ignore it for the rest of the 2 weeks...
They will likely introduce more ways to get florins by opening the wallet or as event rewards. But yea for now it sucks. We won the Siege, but every other building got destroyed. We are not going to repair anything.
9 Actions that could repair the biggest siege-problems:
1. Matchmaking: use the "swiss system" as the first step - means all Clans with the same number of wins (in total and not just over the last 4 sieges) are in one group before matchmaking starts
2. make the last Siege a "test-siege" and start the next siege from 0:
- all buildings repaired on L1
- all Orb- and Florint-Pools set to 0
- all players get the starting amounts again -> all exploits set back!
3. reduce the repair costs for buildings by 80%
4. allow the Clan-leaders to use the mana-orb pool to buy restrictions for Outposts!
5. allow Clan-leaders to move defense-teams to other buildings
6. give at the start of each siege all players at least some Florints and Orbs
7. show "won defense battles" also in the "defend-list" and lost offense-battles in the overview
8. Draw: the teams with more won defensive-battles win
9. player victory-conditions: let the clan leaders decide what the individual player has to achieve to win (like in CvC)
Bonus action: give players the option to watch live-battles of their clan-mates!
That's how matchmaking will work from here on

Allowing leaders to move teams; that is an amazing idea! Why not just build a team and put it in a queue or something similar then the leaders get to place them all around the map and move them around. That would make this mode so much better!!
this is how most games work with similar battle style as Siege. I'm saying to everyone - Plarium is LAZY!!! there are plenty Siege alike games and they are working very well, so why to re-invent the wheel?! they just like to mess things up.
I absolutely love this mode. It finally made me wake the fuck up and face all the money I've wasted over the past 2 years.
This is exactly the type of bullshit that I knew was coming, and why I told my clan before release that we would not be officially doing Siege. To 99% of the clans out there, this is going to be a lesser version of CvC. A least in CvC, the losing clan, as well as the few pieces of gear they receive, will get all the resources from the Clan Reward Tiers. In Siege, losing clan only gets the few gear pieces they may have earned, if they could even capture any buildings.
This is a whale/kraken feature only.. participate if you like feeding the stronger guilds free gear and champ frags
Thank you for talking about this issue, no other CC has. It was the biggest letdown to coordinate so much with clan members, win, and then realize we were in a situation to get hammered next time.
This mode gets worse and worse every day. I wish they would do like other games out there and do a few test runs and state that they would reset it once they are satisfied with the test runs. This mode seems like once you get behind as a clan you are going to be permanently punished because of how horrible the florin and mana orb system is.
We got paired up against a clan that was twice our player power. We planned hard and probably would have wrecked an equal opponent, instead we faced an upward battle from the start against a higher quality opponent. They didn't destroy all of our buildings, but they destroyed enough. We are just going to upgrade our stronghold when we can and ignore repairing buildings until everything is upgraded .
Same I’m leader of 2 clans and coleader in another and I can’t even control where defenses go and where mana orbs/florins are donated, they really need a better raid chat also if they don’t let leaders do that, raid feels like a beta with minimal effort in game mechanics/rewards all because they want money like I’m pretty sure people would pay even more if they knew they got better rewards but I got hope for this game because of the community and video game content creators like this guy and others trying to help plarium fix there game
Oh boy, do I smell some florins packs cooking up in the Plariums kitchen?
Florins must be grouped in a common cache like Mana Orbs, and from there the leadears can choose where to use them, wherever they judge it's best. This seperation is just a useless, not needed and ilogical extra complication.
This is exactly what Plarium wants. You watch in about a week the siege packs will roll out, and you can buy everything you need.
The other issue is if you stonewall early or get your defenses skipped (not hit at all), you do not get anywhere near as many florins either.
I overall like seige, aside from the difficultly communicating with the clan. But the biggest problem for me was the matchmaking has made the floren problem so much worse. We had a bad matchup and lost almost all our building. The matchup also kept us from earning a lot of florens... so... how do we get out of the hole the bad matchup put us in? Also we desperately need clan leadership to be able to move defenses!
This game mode has put a very bad taste in me and my clan mates we are just going to ignore it all together from now on when we got cheated out of our battles because there defense tower was already at level 2 and there stronghold was a level 2 before we even started the war PLAURM should've made in a even playing field they should've uninstall this mode all together then rebooted it to start all over so we just not going to play it I've sent every thing over to them and you just get we are aware of this issue and we're working on it well PLAURM can work on this 🖕🖕I can say thank you so much Skratch for all you do for us
The really sad thing about this whole situation is that most of us don’t even care. The whole gaming function is just not interesting, the rewards are trash and it needs to be re-hauled completely. It’s also literally just another arena, why would anyone want to do that?
We hated it. We matched against a much bigger clan and we got demolished. they had a bunch of bases defended by 6 star +4s and triple stoneskin armanz, UDK, Rezer and Wukongs. nobody in alliance could beat them. also hard to beat anything when they have a yumeko/armanz/mikage that outspeeds 370+ with banner.
Siege reminds me of the same mode as Dragonheir. There, however, it is normal to win on offense and lose on defense. Plarium, on the other hand, wanted to complicate things unnecessarily...

Something I've noticed no one talking about. If u have alts lvl45 or higher u could have brought them into the clan donated and left. Not everyone exploited the bug. Just the game mechanics

@SkratchPlays I'll give u that. But not like bugging the game out and gaining 10's of thousands. Everyone only got 200 florins to start so not a huge advantage unless u have a ton of alts lol
Siege is just tag arena on steroids. The reward system of all or nothing is despised in every other area of the game (CvC/Hydra clash). They literally took the two worst parts of the game and took them and combined them and called it Siege! Other than it looking amazing and the rewards look good there is literally nothing else positive to say about this new content. I thought that Sintranos was the worst game content drop I had seen in the last 5-6 years but this game mode has it beat hands down. Sintranos (Secret Rooms on steriods) at least gives you decent rewards on a regular basis. Siege has the all or nothing reward structure so its gonna be miserable to get regular rewards for most of the clans. My clan overmatched the last clan significantly and we failed to take the Stronghold, no idea how we ever take it in an equal match up. I have nothing positive to say about this game mode. It needs a complete overhaul, its just so awful!
Plarium: Lets make new content.
Also Plarium: Lets put the old broken Arena mechanics into it to mess with the player base.
I feel bad when clan in 1000 or higher rank who is match against top 40 clan now they can’t do anything to upgrade or fix all of the towers and strong hold they should have their repair done for free as it’s not their fault that matchmaking was so broken in the first couple siege
Pretty annoyed we didn't know this ahead of time. I wasted florence on repairs and I wouldn't have. They need to triple the amount of florence given though
I remember that in Oblivion the repairing gear system was so fun that they gave it to Zelda instead of Skyrim.
I cannot wait till Raid implements gear breaking after certain number of battles and then I will need to pay coins to still have it... or maybe the level of upgrade will downgrade - even during battle.
That would be fun and immersive.
There definitly needs to be an update with adjustments to Siege going forward with what they learned from the first Siege and feedback
Friday prep, weekend fight. 3 day max each weekend. Get rid of 3v3 as well.
Ridiculous mode. They didn't think any of it through.
If they allow during the prep phase to earn Florins from Classic, Tag and Live arena.This will allow us to grind some repairs and gives them activity in areas nobody wants to play. Also the teams that don't take the stronghold should still get a chest that gives them a reduced amount of frags for the champ and refills for the 3 arenas. If they don't do something on the repair issue this mode is dead, my clan is already talking on giving up on this mode. we are looking at months to repair and that is if we don't take more damage.

My clan won our Siege battle & we are STILL short of Florins, by several 1000. We managed to destroy all but one of there buildings (shrine i believe). One defense tower, one shrine, & the stronghold, on our side, survived. Tier IV by the way.
For me as an early to midgame player this gamemode is a complete waste of time. We were facing 500k teams in all available posts. My bigest Team has a 160k. So far no CC thought about smaller players how are completly locked out because of shitty matchmaking plus leak of big teams
I tried to lead my team and suggest a strategy on how to deal with it, but for that the whole clan must be in discord or chat, otherwise it doesn't matter to plan a strategy, everything will go according to luck.
Same. There are few of us who were coordinating, but the blind activities of the rest of the clan made the whole experience immensely frustrating.
And I say that as a clan that still managed to win against an obviously more organized and aggressive opponent. We just happened to have a few strong heavy hitters that placed insurmountable teams in key defensive spots and I was able to get enough players to focus on going directly to their Stronghold.
It was right down to the last member, me, who was able to clear the last three very strong teams in their Stronghold to claim the win.
Even though we won, our opponent destroyed most of our buildings and we are now starting at a severe disadvantage since we don't have anywhere close to the needed Florins to repair, let alone upgrade what we need to.
I think that the problem is not even the cost of repair or upgrading, the problem started with the matchmaking there are top clans that got irrilevant opponents and others that got really tought ones. Now after the first match due to this the next siege will be a pain for the ones that got tought opponents. We as a clan lost and all ours buildings, our opponents lost everything except a mana shrine. The next siege will be a pain for both. In a fair matchamaking top clans will have all the same problems so same conditions.
Repair cost, participation rewards, clan to clan balanceing. Those alone would make it better. You gotta have participation and keep your player base.
The mode is entertaining but alot of build up for relatively little activity. Also the repair costs are pretty outrageous, they just need to scrap the repair and make them reset after siege. This is especially true after this first Siege as many clans had wildly lopsided match ups.
Every siege should reset building status, this rebuild cost after siege is just plain stupid. Haven't seen any game carry over stuff from one fight to another
One other issue is if you are losing a fight just turn off your computer and try another team; or get a clan mate with a better team to take it on. That way you are very efficient with your scrolls. This is what our competitors did to us. While it did not help them, it could have been a game changer. Plarium needs to change this. If you start a fight and you leave it for any reason, you should lose the match.
I don’t think you explained properly what happens if you just don’t repair the Stronghold. If you get it destroyed again, does another 5k florins adds up to a total of 10k or it stays at 5k? Because if it stays at 5k we might have a chance to catch up :))
I explained it properly. If it is already destroyed, how can they destroy it again? 🤣 No costs do not double for that as you can only destroy one thing once before you repair it.
So you will be able to carch up eventually.
everyone should be able to use attack scrolls at release and with the release of a new area they should increase the amount of attack rolls to 4-5. The way they released this is stupid as f....
Tbh it’s disheartening disappointing there’s more than half of raid that just don’t have enough people to do much and getting clans that have a huge amount of people is just rough especially when they can just destroy you within minutes and there’s nothing you can do
they should unlock an attack every 16 hours so that everyone has an opportunity to attack. i suggested that too to be able to farm mana shrines as a credited attack

Repairing ONLY allows you to use orbs. That's it.
It still works PERFECTLY broken. No bonus conditions. The end

Still can't get my clan to realize that arena auras do not work in siege. Got Arb, Wukong and Armanz lead teams all over
We were put in tier 4 and got demolished. All of our buildings but one mana shrine got destroyed. We're in a deep hole. I suppose we'll just keep losing until we hit the rock bottom and can start to build back up. 😂
get rid of repair costs, it makes it so unfair if you happen to go against clans that are OP, and you can never climb back out of that huge hole
Clan im part of had 7 buildings destroyed. All a direct path to our stronghold . We'll never recover or be able to upgrade .
All of my towers and stronghold are destroyed. We have only enough florens to restore a small fraction of one building. What a joke man

Never repair buildings, they just get destroyed every time. Only use resources to upgrade buildings.

They are tied to tiers, but if you are in a high tier you can get the ones from the lower tiers

What about champions aura in that arena based? It should count here too.
It shouldn’t. People are already complaining about it just being arena with a new skin. Let’s at least keep the auras different, so the battles in siege have a slightly different flavor to them. I’d prefer there were a few more differences like smaller teams at posts too.
According to a bug report in the official Raid Discord, a clan tested and confirmed that an Arbiter using her Arena Speed Aura was indeed working in their Siege battle.
how did someone in your clan donate 400 florins? using an exploit before it got patched?
I explained in the video, no exploit, all buildings u attack give different rewards
" Destroyed building hold a smaller number of defense teams than normal buildings" from the guide in game. I have Defense tower 2 and Magic tower 5 destroyed and both hold two teams as normal. Someone here have less teams in there destroyed buildings?
That only applies after you have upgraded the building.
Actually Skratch - You got something wrong that you can comment on later.
You describe it as if you miss out on the Victory Chest if you do not get a Defense win or Attack Win.
The thing is - You do not get the Chests(In your case the Mythic reward chests) either.... Missing a Win has a crazy cost.
They really need to fix that.

@@SkratchPlays No, you get nothing without a Defense or Attack win. No victory chests, no milestone rewards and none of the other rewards like Mana Orbs or Florins for things like placing a defense team. Meaning a clan that is falling apart and only places 15 defenders puts the clan that matches them at a HUGE disadvantage moving forward.

I’m in a level 16 clan and we got wrecked by a level 19 kraken clan, I was one of the few people in my clan that even won a battle: one battle!
Siege is for kraken clans and whale clans. They can get the feral gear the other75 percent wont. This could have been good but its already ruined

sorry you are way off that no one can upgrade.we all got 200 before first siege startet thats 6000.i got 210 from this siege yes we won it.if all just got around 150 then you coud upgrade the stronghold already.so please dont tell people to spam plarium when its posibel to do it legit.if people had stronghold already level 2 in first siege then its a totaly difrent story,becourse i think mana follows you to a new clan but not the florin.i coud be wrong on that.

I really don’t have a problem with the repairs. This allows no single clan to dominate Siege as in win one lose one repeat in all tiers.
Yes I agree... but what your not understanding is a clan thats defeated... cannot repair... drastically diminishing their chances to win the next time... its a downward spiral. While the winning team can upgrade... its a huge disparity which actually does allow dominate clans to stay dominant and overpowered!
@@PlaneReality we’re in tier 1 and we didn’t set any bonuses etc. it wasn’t easy but we still won. It’s just too much to coordination. The repairs are really bad though.
