I was disappointed she didn't go for the high notes, I really wanted to hear her belt them out. I understand that's her vocal style though. It's really a personal preference, but everyone loves a good belt now and then!

Is the song coming from her nose or mouth? And is she doing the whole song a half note higher than the accompaniment? Pretty sad job of one of my favorite songs.
If you don't have the range then do the song in a different key. It'd probably let you sing more from your mouth than your nose. Don't try to go out of your range just to be closer to the original. Make it your own.
