Just a word of advice if you own this scooter, make sure the plastic twist dial screw and u-bolt for fastening the handlebar stem is completely screwed in tight and test before riding. This morning I didn't make sure it was on completely tight(I thought that I had it secured)and the handlebars came down as I started to take off. My knee scraped the concrete a bit and of course the scooter fell over, but it wasn't damaged fortunately. I think the big plastic screw knob thing is one of the biggest cons to this scooter. They really should've went with a clamping type design instead imo.
Brent, Nanrobot did a good job breaking their moulds on this one. I have heard this is a good one for trails. That kickstand looks crazy long and a little odd. Have you ever experienced that handlebar locking mechanism loosening after trail riding? Great point on the turn signals, I feel the same way about the ones on the Emove Cruiser. I'm not sure about the whole awards business but thanks for showing the scooter on some nice trails.
what's up, Electron Surfer! that's a great point and i think you're totally right. this one feels like a bit of a departure from the norm in a good way. kickstand is pretty good. longer ones are more stable, but get in the way more. for something this heavy i think it's worth it. i was very worried about the handlebar locking mechanism before testing, especially at speeds of 40 mph, but it has not loosened at all over the course of 250 miles. in fact, it seemed to have self-tightened, which i think is great. it is very difficult to unscrew though because it's perfectly round. haven't tested the Emove Cruiser yet but i believe we have that one scheduled for sometime in the next couple of months. anyway, hope you're well, buddy and appreciate the comment!
Fantastic review Thank you. I have a question: How do you erase the selfie stick in those scenes where you can seee the whole scooter? Also, do you thik you really need the hydraulic brakes or is the mechanical beaks enough/

How tall are you? I’m 6’7”- always concerned about handlebar height/fit. Will the D6+ be a good fit or do you have a recommendation for someone my size. Also 240lb. Thanks
I'm 6'1" and about 210lbs. The handlebars are high enough that my arms are bent while gripping them. In fact, the handlebars could be about 3" lower and I'd still be able to grip them while standing straight. It will certainly hold 240lbs of weight - I jump min off curbs regularly. The only thing I've noticed is that the springs in the suspension appear to have worn in a bit, and I had to tighten it up a bit. No big deal, and I've only had to do that once.

Hello I’ve just received my d6+ and I dont think it Is as it should be. In turbo mode it’s fine but in Eco mode it won’t go over 15mph wether in gear 1/2/3 I only get 15mph is that normal also the suspension is like a trampoline it bounces all over the place it has no damping at all any help will be much appreciate thanks
Hello, I don't have the d6+, but a similar scooter. Mine also has that eco mode button as many other brands of scooters, and yes it is normal. I have a slightly weaker scooter, and I cant get it past 11mph with eco mode turned on, in any gear. And with the springs, it should have a ring over the spring that you can tighten, to make it stiffer. In the lack of right words, the ring looks like a cog. I have not done this myself, since mine is fine, but from what I have heard, is really tight and hard to turn. If that does not so the trick. Replacing the springs is an option, easy to find new ones.

The speed drops quite quick. And I can't even believe the company release a video of their claimed speed of 28 mph by showing a video of the scooter doing its speed while its running off the ground WITHOUT any fractions, weight, inclined on it. But for some reason when my scooter posed to ship my account doesn't update from unfulfilled to fulfilled gtfoh and refund me my chips please lmao
@@castolano ya i feel that. sounds frustrating. glad you got your money back at least.
you doign awards now lol? cool video though and descne t looking scooter actually. think it could carry a 300 lbs guy like me?
what’s good ragtatteddude! glad to see you back buddy. and ya! we don’t normally do awards but this one deserved it. :)
this could probably handle 300lbs but i would go easy on the jumps.
Just remember to wear a full face helmet. Take it from me... fell on my face. All it take is a straight fall and ur head hit first on the pavement. The helmet he has on is not gonna protect him.
I just came from the hospital 12 h ago, and i got run over by a car while I was riding, and yes DEFINITELY WEAR A HELMET, i was not wearing one and fell on the ground unconscious.
@@hechisus_coc6691 Thank GOD u ok!
@@shrimboy7492 if god was going to get involved why did it not just prevent the accident at all? or was it just another case of using pain and suffering to teach a lesson
The speed drops quite quick. And I can't even believe the company release a video of their claimed speed of 28 mph by showing a video of the scooter doing its speed while its running off the ground WITHOUT any fractions, weight, inclined on it.
That tells you alot about the company's claim and products. And they didn't help me much with the problems i have on their scooter.
Get the Ninebot Max. It's way better.
Do not buy Nanrobot does not have any warranty service, they do not accept return service, I will always get the automatic robot reply, I am very disappointed!!
That one looks really fast , my swagger 5 elite only goes about 18 to 19 mph. I just bought the gopro fusion 360 camera and its really nice! th-cam.com/video/k8L92ZBdC18/w-d-xo.html
hey Timothy! great to see you again. how you liking the Fusion? i’ve been considering picking that up. saw your footage and looks good!
@@electrifiedreviews I would get the newest 360 camera gopro has out, the max. I just wanted a cheap one for my first one. Here is the link for the new max : gopro.com/en/us/shop/cameras/max/CHDHZ-201-master.html
@@electrifiedreviews The max has hypersmooth making your video's look alot better no shaking.
Timothy Church right on. thanks for the rec. gonna check it out. :)
Timothy Church how is editing for the GoPro 360? the Insta360 editing software is less than ideal for sure and if GoPros editing software is better that would be a huge deal.
How much they pay you for this review Lmao
LOL!
Nanrobot, scooter of the year? Seriously? Are they giving you free stuff? Junk
hey Michael! it’s our opinion based on our experience of reviewing personal electric vehicles full time for a few years now, but in the end, it’s just that: an opinion. sounds like this isn’t the scooter for you, but I’m curious to know which scooter you’d pick for the scooter of year!
@@electrifiedreviews Mantis base model. 400 miles since spring. No issues. Outstanding power and suspension.
Apollo pro with 2 years warranty is a better scooter.
They have the new version
