Thanks Jerome,I'm glad you enjoyed my video sometimes I find it hard to believe that this airport is the busiest in the world,it's very impressive, there is never a full moment here, thanks again 🇺🇸🇺🇸.
I visited Hartsfield in April and in August. I stayed at the Renaissance Concourse Hotel with a runway view from the 9th floor. That is a busy busy airport, planes everywhere. No Airport in the US can top Hartsfield. Thumbs up for the people creating the Busiest Airport In The World. I love that title.
Agreed, there is never a full moment at the Atlanta Airport,I have yet to spot from the Hotel, any aircraft can land here,I believe the Space Shuttle could land here, Runway 27R-9L is our longest Runway.
Thanks Man and I'm glad you enjoyed it and yep you are absolutely correct the MD-88s will soon be a memory, the are getting older and older and less fuel efficient and they are noisy, they were going to retired in 2020 but that is probably going to change, probably 2025 maybe less time than that,I always ask Delta Airlines Line Maintenance about the MD-88s they always tell me we'll keep them as long as we can.
Awesome catches man! Wish the South Deck didn't have to close for any people coming from Marta but at least we can work with the North Deck dispite the lack of widebody aircraft using those runways on that side.
Thanks Sir I appreciate your kind words, yep the Atlanta airport never sleeps,I wish the City of Atlanta would have money in their budget for and observation deck on the north side and the Southside terminals, it's a gamble to which the International wide bodies come in, sometimes it's on the Southside and sometimes it's the north side of the of the airport, mostly on the Southside because that's where the Longest runways are on this side, thanks again.
ATL has 5 parallel runways and i believe 3 are used exclusively for landing and the other 2 for take offs (or the reverse I keep forgetting) which is an awesome setup. Plus each runway I believe, also has its own local controller. Seriously, efficient airport.
Thanks Jay,The Atlanta Airport is a efficient airport and the City of Atlanta and the Department of Aviation here is striving for perfection all the time to make your experience as pleasant as possible.
Hello, this is one of my locations I'm on the south parking deck, there is also a spot at the International F concourse parking deck and last the north parking deck.
This is one of my favorite aviation videos, yep its a different time now and we will probably never see the MD-88/90s ever again unless it's another airline that purchased then from Delta or any other airline, Those Korean B747s are big indeed, that's why we love to see 747s in Atlanta Cargo or Passengers.
@@dd.greenefilms2598 Yes, though I also miss when there were more passenger 747s flying about as nearly all 747s now are cargo. The same goes with the 757 and 767.
@@ChrisZoomER Yep alot has changed in the past years, I'm afraid it just won't be the Same anymore but either way we will still continue to support and flying in Aviation, I've seen more Cargo planes and it seems to be increasing here in Atlanta there is not a day that goes by that I see a Cargo plane landing or taking off.
this was the worst day of my life, the airport shut down on saturday because of a storm i was stranded in savannah for 4 hours missed my connecting flight when i got to atlanta. no hotels no car rental everything was booked hundrends of flights canceled slept at airport floor with my 4 year old and that sunday my flight was delayed almost two hours.
I'm terribly sorry to hear that and I hope you never have to experience that ever again,I pray that you and your family got home safely,in the past when push came to shove, when things got bad here in Atlanta, some of use that live in the Atlanta area would open up our homes to accommodate stranded passengers, Airline Employees did this many years ago and I helped with this operation, believe me I've been in a difficult situation when I've been trying to get back to Atlanta from Las Vegas and LaGuardia airports because the weather was bad,my secondary plane was to take Amtrak back home but it never got that far, take care of yourself and your family 🙋.
The Busiest Airport in the World. If you love watching planes that is the place to be. Good Video!

Amazing video Dexter! Get some of those MD80s and MD88s while you can, I heard they're being retired from service soon. Have a great Friday!

Hi. Any recommendations on spotting locations? Thanks 👍👍

I love delta. I feel safe in delta :)
Thanks so much for your kind words and support 🇺🇸🙋🇺🇸🙋.
Back when there was still an abundance of Delta MD-80s and holy shoot, look at that Korean 747-8I... it even makes Delta's 777-200LR look small.

@1:49 how can you tell the type of MD that is?
It's a MD-88 the MD-90 has bigger Engines.
oh yes I see now. Thanks so much.
@@dougembler328 Your Welcome and anytime.
very nice with spotting
Thanks so much for your kind words.
Was there a donut shop nearby I saw a cop car?
Only Atlanta Airport Police, Dunkin Donuts is in the Concourse, he'd have to go upstairs to get some lol.
Nice video! What kind of camera did you use?
Thanks very much for your kind words and I use a Panasonic Full HD HC-V180 Video camera,I enjoy using it and it works great.
