The narration did not distract from the breathtaking scenery. Great video!

I love the feeling of being so small while adventuring in Alaska.

Looks incredible. Noticed you had bug nets on, how were the bugs overall and what time of year was it?

Thank you! We were there in the third week of July. The bugs weren't bad, but there were a couple of days when they were worse. My experience has been that it's very location and weather specific. So, you can run into bugs at one place, and literally go five miles and be totally away from any bugs. Or it can be windy at an otherwise buggy place and drive the bugs away. I think headnets are a good idea, but I really didn't run into any of those massive Alaska mosquitos in the Brooks Range.

I would really like to go here after seeing this. The Arrigetch peaks look amazing. Also if your looking for more solitude, I had a friend that spent 2 weeks up in wabakimi provincial park in Ontario, and he didn’t see a single person. Great job with the video

Beautiful video. Brings back memories. I did the same trip, solo, in 2011, all the way to Alallaket and never saw another soul. Great memories.

I am so glad I found your channel, thanks for commenting back and letting me know about this video. Hopefully I can get there and locate the site of the family members cabin I mentioned. I am pretty sure I know where it is/was along the route you took in this video. Would you mind if I were to contact you someday and ask a few questions?
