I have the magnetic pick up because like you, Cruiseman, I didn't know about the magnetic nut driver. The magnetic pick up is hopeless when a plastic fastener falls into the crevices of the fairing but at least the magnetic pick up has helped me at least twice when the bolt, nut or washer drops into hard to reach places.
I’ve always enjoyed using MotionPro Tools - they seem to have a knack for coming up with motorcycle-related solutions that are not easily found amongst the more mainstream manufacturers. I love the T-handle deep socket wrenches - I really wish that they would put a knurled spot on the shaft leading down to the socket to help you spin the wrench if it’s a little oily or whatever - I have suggested it to a couple of different two manufacturers and nobody seemed to think it would be useful - 🤷🏻♂️
Motion Pro makes good tools. I've been using them longer than I can remember. For a flexible pickup tool, I prefer the claws. Megnets stick to everything else, making it difficult to fish steel parts out of tight places. The part detaches from the magnetic and falls deeper into the abyss. I've had better luck with flexible grabber claws. Thanks for the informative videos.
I have both the "claw" (aka pearl catcher) and the magnetic pick up tool. The claw I have is a Bluepoint brand that was bought by Snap On. The reason why I got it is because at that time. that "claw" was the longest one in the market.
I was wondering, do you need to "preload" brake fluid in the bleeder tool before installing it onto the bleeder itself? Or are you able to just put the empty hose onto the bleeder and start bleeding the brakes without preloading brake fluid in it? Also could you bleed both brakes at the same time if you had 2 tools or you don't recommend that? Thank you
If your ever working on something and you don’t have magnetic drivers or sockets tear a piece of paper towel or plastic bag and push it into the socket or driver before putting it on the bolt head or nut and usually once it loose it will stay in the socket and not fall out
@@cruisemansgarage I watched Max’s video, but looking forward to seeing your production and your thoughts on the mounts. I’ve ordered a left and right mount.

Thanks Chris...Tools are such an important aspect of working on your own bike. Great stuff from Motion Pro and you!

Great hack. I will use that.
