That background has to be one of the most beautiful bokeh effects I've seen. I think it would be more relaxing than scrubbing with stencils.
Really beautiful and crisp and frosty! I look forward to trying this one. Thank you so much, excellent tutorial.
Welcome! hope you enjoy the process!
So very pretty!! Can't wait to watercolor this with you!! Thank you!

Have fun!
Even your simplest of designs are beautiful.
🍃Lovely indeed as always 😊🍃
So delicate, yet it really stands out. I believe these are Hawthorne Berries. Love the bokeh background. You are unstoppable, Nia. TY again for more inspiration. 🙏
Your bokeh background is lovely Nia! I usually use my circle stencil and a piece of sponge (magic erase works best) to lift the color, and for more lift I use a piece of paper towel. It works, but yours came out more organic looking and worked great with the branches. The berries are also beautiful! I did a background of various warm greens and browns after drawing out a sunflower then painted around the flower since I didn’t have masking fluid. It worked, but somewhat frustrating with watercolor unless you use a really creamy mixture. It’s a great challenge to do these backgrounds and yours is just amazing! Blessings to you! 💗Rita
😊😂😂q😂😂😂😊😊😮😅

Such a wonderful coincidence! I was looking at my masking fluid thinking what can I do with it and your video popped up! Always wanted to try bokeh effect but was unsure how to get started.

Wow
😍❄️I totally love the frosty look and those berries!! 😊 I think it looks very much like a Rosehip! Beautiful, and a lovely paint along for the weekend! 😉 Thank you, Nia, and have a nice weekend too! 🙏😃👍🤗👏👏👏😘
I'm not sure what a Rosehip is I'll have to google it :p Glad you enjoyed it!
@@Nianiani ☺️ I had to Google it too, because I didn't know the English name. In Spain we call it Escaramujo. 😉 No matter what it is, it's definitely lovely! Thank you again! 🙏🤗
I also have to agree this looks like rosehip.
Rosehip is the center of the rose after the petals fall off. It grows into like a seed. Birds love rosehip.
Oh, my! This was relaxing to watch and so beautiful! I am inspired to try your process to get the misty effects.
@@barbaram5787 I googled it, and that's basically what it looks like wow hahaha it's great to have a community who knows so much about plants, because I don't, I just paint them haha :DD
You can use different size of coins in a tissue; that way its more even from the start :) Or use a circle stencil if you have one. If you're into cardmaking like I am I just make mine using dies. So just use what you have:) you can even use a waxine candle for resist. Just be aware that wax is not removable if you want to avoid wax best way is with wax bast colored pencil. For white my preference is derwent drawing chinese white.
😍😍
Thanks for a great tutorial! Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
