Thanks! I haven't really fished since I was maybe in my late teens, but I started again last year and slowly learning knots, lures, etc. There will definately be some fishing in future videos
I spent many years camping on islands, and they are some of my favorite places to camp. And for the record, I'm pretty sure you could have taken the geese.
Haha I appreciate the confidence. And I completely see why, I was still a bit too close to the highway on this one and could hear the trucks but definitely plan on doing more of these Thanks for watching bud!
The sun on the horizon shot was pretty epic. I hear you on the mosquito point. I tend to gravitate to rivers because there's always a wind flowing along it. The downside is the ambient noise from the water makes a suprise bear encounter more likely. So I choose my camp location accordingly to back into a spot I can let the prevailing breeze carry my scent onto any upcoming carnivores
Do you do any fishing as well?. Great video, need more Canadian content like this

Good call steering clear of those geese!
Great video, buddy! Really enjoyed this, though I’m not going to lie, I really wanted to watch you wrestle those geese!😂 cheers!
Haha! Turned out there was more of them on the water, they had me outnumbered 😅
Thanks for watching!

Great Video, thanks for sharing. Looks like a cool island! I have been wanting to do more kayak camping this is very inspiring!
Thanks! It's a reality check when you realize how little gear you can actually bring. But, it's also nice to find secluded spots.
Thanks for watching!

Awesome! I have that model as well but haven't had the chance to use it hot tenting yet
