Poor lad to have to have all of that happen to him for just being born a work horse. Of course it could happen to any animal, but to have to have lived a life of abuse and neglect and then have the cancer step in is just a bit too much for my poor heart to handle. For the rest of his days, he'll be in a loving environment with the care and cuddles that he needs. Thank you for your good hearts and admirable intentions for all critters, big hoofed or not.

I'm so sorry that the news isn't positive about his eye and I can see how hard it is hitting you and that you are trying to stay brave. I have a good gut feeling that the operation will be fine. He will feel like a new horse one his eye has come out. I had one of my horse's eye removed 5 weeks ago and he is 27 years old. I was very worried because he is so old but now he is like a much younger horse. I was worried at first because all the blood and stuff out of his eye came out of his nose after the operation but it is normal. Lucky is such a beautiful giant and he is looking so much better with proper food and love. Sending hugs and healing prayers to all of you ❤❤❤

Unfortunately his eye is not in there. The tumor grew so large that it ruptured his globe and that’s what is causing the infection. It went so long without treatment. But we are going to get him all fixed up and after the surgery he is going to enjoy a long life of love and kindness.

Unfortunately his eye was removed prior to us rescuing him. ~Aunt Kara
Unfortunately his eye is not in there. The tumor grew so large that it ruptured his globe and that’s what is causing the infection. It went so long without treatment. But we are going to get him all fixed up and after the surgery he is going to enjoy a long life of love and kindness.

He looks so much better and more relaxed too. I am concerned about the secondary tumor and the nodes; I can tell you are worried too. You have much courage and strength. We will ask our Lubavitcher Rebbe of Righteous Memory to remember Lucky on April 6th.

Let me just say hes a such a stunning and brave well behaved boy even though what hes going through must be scary the horses you save can tell that they are safe with you and youre such a amazing person saving horses like him to let them live out the rest of their time safely
