Here's a much shorter video of the same process. But it doesn't have specific details or voice commentary.
• How to easily ROOT the...
I may give this a shot. I'm running converted tmo 7t and on derpfest 13. love it. But haven't rooted in years.
I love custom ROM's myself, but I like the features built in stock firmware that custom ROM's don't have. But occasionally I get bored with stock firmware and switch to a custom ROM. crDroid is my favorite ROM
@@1776AR hahah same here. Android matured and I stopped for 4 years. 7t is backup and like the roms so far. Wish I could get network to work 9n OOS 12. Tried them all. No go for network. Requires reset network it shows Verizon for a bit then says I'm roaming out of country and then goes out ...tried several. Sucks. Hahah. Still waiting on an actual global that actually works. I'm on global 11. 0.91 now.
By the way I did. I used this method on a derpfest or pixel experience. Worked well got happy and started installing g modules and bootlooped. Hahah I'm no newb but I used to be a flash aholic. Anyway I'm still stock but may root stock. I just like messing with system status bar and fonts. That and occasion kernel configs.
@@robertclarkguitar Unfortunately there's no global firmware for the 7T Pro McLaren. I've been using the 8T for awhile, originally T-Mobile, but I installed the global version. I highly recommend the 8T over the 7T Pro McLaren, just for the fact you can install the global firmware on it
@@robertclarkguitar And as far as boot loops, all modders occasionally face boot loops, especially heavy modders like us. Noobs struggle to get out of boot loops, as to were us old school modders can easily recover from boot loops. Boot loops is a thing no matter how much experience one has with modding 🤷♂️ I myself rarely brick my phone, but it still occasionally happens when I'm experimenting with it
MVP!!!! Thank you bro!
Glad to help out 👍
Here's a quick video of the process. I summed it up in under 4 minutes.

Link isn't working,can't download recovery...
You can find the recovery img here sourceforge.net/projects/crdroid/files/hotdog/9.x/recovery/
And Magisk here. If it downloads as a apk, then just rename the .apk to .zip magiskapp.com/zip/
@Bobby Hodges
Have you been able to to install a *Custom ROM* that converts the *5G T-Mobile version* into *Dual-SIM?*
If so which Custom ROM is it?
I'm not a big fan of custom ROM's anymore. But I have spent many hours trying to install the global ROM on the phone, but had no luck. Unfortunately I don't think it's possible.
bootload not unlock..........

If you don't have the unlock code you'll need to downgrade to A10 and use the method from XDA.
Use this method to unlock the bootloader

I don't have that phone anymore, but there's a guide on XDA for unlocking the bootloader if my guide didn't work for you.

Have you tried looking on XDA? Check this link and you should be able to find the version you're looking for forum.xda-developers.com/f/oneplus-7t-pro-5g-mclaren-roms-kernels-etc.9901/

Hi I need to unlock the network any help will be much appreciated
Is your network provider T-Mobile? The easiest way would be to talk to a T-Mobile employee and sweet talk them into adding your phone to the unlock list. But most T-Mobile employees won't do that for a stranger. The only way to network unlock your phone other than through the carrier would be to change the IMEI number. But that's a very dangerous process because it could easily disable your cellular service.
