I would never in hell have the patience to do this, but the instructions made it seem very easy to follow so anybody could if they wanted to, even though it seems like such an intricate design & hard to achieve. I appreciate the time & effort you put into making this video, really cool overall
Great tutorial, really. The pauses are helpful for learning- but they ruin the asmr (the uneven pattern of white noise and silence is uncomfortable). It would be much more relaxing to keep the video unedited.
I suppose it shouldn't surprise me that the techniques here are the same as those used in vegetable carving. I just haven't thought about soap carving in, geez, over 30 years at this point. But it looks like the techniques translate directly. Being able to carve a rose out of a radish should mean you can carve one out of a suitable soap, too.

I honestly wasn't going to watch this because I thought, "No way can this be for beginners!" It would take a lot of patience but I think anyone who can handle a knife should be able to do this. I really like that there is, so far, not a lot of chatter, I can find the non-stop talking and choice of music, often too loud and quite annoying. The quiet is very restful, peaceful, and welcome. I wonder if a potato peeler would work better in the first stage for getting a really flat surface to work with? I think the blue soap is the perfect color to make a snowflake with, it is a cool color, very frosty looking. This was a great video, I will be checking out more of your content, and THANKS!!
