I colored the unicorn with eyeshadow.

if you crush up the eyeshadow pigment and add a few drops of rubbing alcohol you will get a brighter outcome when painting the soaps. I make soap from scratch. and when doing projects similar to these (mine come out of molds though) that's what I do for more opaque colors. and the rubbing alcohol all everaporates when it dries and won't be harmful at all.

Wonderful carving, wonderful video! I'm so tempted to make one now! My only suggestion: replace the high-pitched sqeaks with a more neutral sound. I wasn't able to enjoy the sound of soap cutting because I'm very sensitive to high frequency sounds. Looking forward to the next one!

mizutama.soap substituting the sounds for a visual might work if you still want the emphasis. I personally think the video is so well done as is that even if you wanted to skip the sounds altogether, it would still work.

This white soap is called "Gyunyu sekken". Cow brand soap in Japan.

You could cut spirals into the horn and colour that too. 😊 I love this tutorial. Just wish I could find the carving knife to use. 😔 (buying online is not currently an option for me)

Vegeta's girl I live in a small town and the only craft shops anywhere near do not sell them. (there's only 3 shops I've been able to find at all - where I live is close by borders of 5 countries and that's it. So anything they don't sell, I can't get any other way at the moment.)
