#5. Would be very interesting to see what reaction it got in today's society. I agree with you, it's a very subtle trans positive message if you open your mind to it. It's like:'Hey! look at me now, but deep down my preferences like food etc are no different. I may have changed by gender expression but dude, baked beans still are great.'
Someone would be offended today though. Today everything's offensive to some group or another

Yeah, I agree that many people are way too sensitive. I personally don't find that baked beans ad transphobic in any way, in fact it's quite progressive, in my opinion, given that trans/nonbinary people weren't as widely accepted in 2007 as they are now.
