Man super useful. You just helped make my decision from the Phantom 3 Pro to Phantom 4. Looks like the 4 is a definite go. Quick question though... What is your professional take on what possible upgrades could be coming in the future P4 models? I'm thinking possibly Obstacle Avoidance on the back, sides, and top?? Any others that probably come to mind?

As soon as it fly for about half an hour, the FPV signal on my Ipad mini 2 starts seeing terribly, with lags, black and green screen and freezed screen. I am using the latest firmware, and I have been thinking on downgrading it, but first I would like to consider your comments. Thank you!!!

What's this positive gimbal is totally new stuff? my P3 has it, my P2 has it; or did I misunderstand him? Bobster986, it's not an Android cable, it's just a usb cable.
I'm not understanding your comment Steven? the supplied cable is a std USB cable, android devices use them but so do many other none android devices; hence my comment "it's not an Android cable. If you're going to make nonsensical smart arse comments then at least explain your rational behind the comment please.

Looks like the same frame as the p1, with minor changes. I am afraid don't like how dji are now exactly like apple. Same design for generations with incimental changes and a locked system. Sorry skipping the p4, going with the Yuneec H this time around. DJI becoming exactly like apple had turned me off the product.
you prefer shorter range and less flight time too? just because of the shell design you will skip this? I find this unlikely...I think you are more likely to skip because you already preordered the H or something ...I mean even if it did have the same frame,the features are what's totally improved. +Dennis Rogers im sad about this :( instead of advancing in tech like they used to, they are making it easier to fly and more consumer-oriented for now it is the best drone, and i would go to yuneec if the range was further and if it went faster, but i really hope the phantom 5 is better i know it wont be, but i will always hope
steve espinoza that sucks... iOS devices arent that great with Phantom drones imo. Maybe some interference of some sorts emanating from the iPad ? Try disabling WiFi altogether. Anyway, did you correctly hold the transmitter ? Like towards the general direction of the P4 I mean . Did you correctly extend the antennas upwards ? Did you do all that ? Once I used to point the transmitter towards the ground without thinking and the drone didn't go more than 1 kilometer from me. I was also behind a car and I flew the drone below the patch of trees/tree line that was between the drone and me. After I realised this i corrected my mistake and then the P3A would fly for 2 kilometres without any loss of signal ,with full bars. Turned back because I didn't need to go farther since I got the footage I needed
Hi Justin, like your video on Phantom 4 but I am very much ANTI APPLE and from what you mention it is all about Apple. Not a single mention was caught re Android compatibility so guess who won't be looking to buy a Phantom 4
Nice vid but do you think DJI would have installed the HDMI port on the controller..........DJI keep on changing the battery.from 23 min to 28 min not impressed.another money making sceme to sell off to thier customers..thx

+Greg Snell obstacle avoidance for the back and sides probably won't happen unless they have some sort of hardware add on. It would be nice though!!!
