I didn't need to write IELTS. My Bachelor's degree was verified by ECCTIS instead to prove English proficiency. They just need a letter from the University confirming all the lectures and tutorials were conducted in English and the degree was equivalent to the UK degree.
Same happened for me I graduated from Pakistan and even the letter from my university which is not among the top universities was accepted. Instead of IELTS rest of information is same for me I moved from Dubai just last week.

Within PSW (2 years) time you can do any job you like full time but to extend the visa you will have to switch to Skilled Worker Visa after 2 years and you can only get that if you have a sponsored job. So technically you have 2 years of PSW to find skilled worker job to extend your visa 👍🏻

You might be applying in all the companies.. only apply in A rated companies.. who will sponsor you
