I’m from Chicago. Was in Jr High during the Bulls dynasty. We HATED Jerry… everyone hate Jerry. It wasn’t a secret. The man was a complete Jackass and is the reason the greatest dynasty ever ended. He will forever be hated by Bulls fans. It had nothing to do with the last dance!
well said and totally agree, i followed the bulls from the other side of the world and in my neighbourhood of Jordan's Bulls fan...Krause is indeed the killer of the Bulls Dynasty...
Great point! Krause was hated years before the last dance came out. Fans don't forget. Especially the fans of the GOAT and one of the greatest dynasties of all time. I mean what did Krause think was going to happen after breaking up that team? That everyone was going to love him?
They didn't have a problem with Krause putting the team together, they had a problem with him always saying he's responsible with the success. He told Phil he could go 82-0 and he'd still be replaced. All that stuff was true about what they said to Krause. This was even before the 98 season. It got even worse after they went 72-10 and won the title. I grew up in Chicago and heard this everyday on sports talk segments. The fans had the feeling that they were gonna blow up at anytime. It's too bad cause they could've won a 7th ring especially it was a short NBA season in 99.
Most Chicago sports were like that. Jerry Reinsdorf , The McCaskeys , or however it's spelled. They were all the same in having their own powerblocks and politics the whole time , like the city. If one wasn't there , they couldn't begin to understand , and what they find out , it's much deeper than that. It was like they had a monopoly of mediocrity before they all started allowing the teams to win. And yes , I said allowed. We have some of the most passionate bases in all of sports. People had started to not show up to these venues before , and those chips brought a lot of money , influence , and power. The city was live and jumping with people feeling good. I liked when the new ownership came in for the Cubs , and I've always respected The Blackhawks owners.
Don't know if this is true, but I always felt Krause was anxious to break up the Bulls and build his own team from scratch because he would never get full credit as long as Jordan was on the team since he didn't draft him. Have we ever seen a GM so anxious to break up a championship team before? It was reported that the excuse was he didn't want the Bulls to be like Celtics when Bird, McHale, Parish etc. started aging. He preferred to just tear it down, get high draft picks and do an immediate complete rebuild. People outside of Chicago looked at this situation and just scratched our heads.
@@Mistachill very true about Krause wanting to prove he could win without Jordan. He wanted to prove that it was his ability to draft and find talent overseas and put a team together from scratch was the true reason Chicago was able to win a chip. So he wanted to do it...he did it...he gambled and bet on his ego and lost big time. Never won a thing again as the Bulls GM. So the boos fom Chicago fans are justified.
The only people who didn’t like the way Jerry Krauss was betrayed in the documentary are people who were not alive in the 90s to witness it in real time Jerry Krause was universally a hated man since he let horse Grant leave after the 94 season and that is a fact
He got off on bad footing with Mike his 2nd year when he injured his foot and tried to keep MJ out longer than Mike felt necessary. And then forced coaches to restrict his playing time. MJ felt Krause wanted to lose and get in the lottery. He never really forgave him for that.
Why is this director rewriting history. The city of Chicago LIVED THROUGH the Jerry Krause years and doesn't need a documentary from him to tell us what it was like or what our opinion of Krause should be. Jerry could not put his own ego aside and let the players and coach get the credit for winning 6 NBA championships, he wanted the praise and glory because in his own words the front office makes championships. The Bulls were a joke of a team before MJ came along - everyone knows MJ and the guys HE made better are the reason we won 6 championships, not because of Jerry. They never should have introduced his wife first as "representing him" for that ceremony. No one cares about his wife or wants to boo her, they rightly wanted to boo Jerry - that falls squarely on the Bulls. They know EXACTLY what Chicago thinks of him and thought pulling that stunt would work. Shame on them, not the fans. Who knows how many more years of Jordan and the Bulls we could have had if not for Jerry Krause. He broke up a legendary team and criminally underpaid its second best player. Screw him
The last dance didn't like teach chicagoans about Krause like he implies when his wife got booed this year. We hated Krause for decades before the last dance.
He still built the team that gave you 6 championships. His ego got to big after a few but you don't boo a dead guy. Worse than Philly booing Santa. Money and the owner are an important part of why the team didn't stay together
@@kennysmith1925 to be fair, i don't even think chicago would have won the championship the next season. They had the lockout, that would have been very bad to that chicago team. Pippen wasn't the same after that season. Rodman also wasn't the same. Maybe jordan would have been very near the same. But Overall they would have been a worst team that season, not championship level..
Yep, if you were a fan of the bulls during the 80s and 90s the last dance didn't teach you anything about Krause. Krause alone was the one who publicly made himself the reason a 3 -peat championship team was being broken up. Nobody cared at the time about the good moves he made as gm. Bulls fans like myself only cared that he was the one actively trying to break that team apart even in 97. Nobody should act surprised why he was booed he deserved it. It ultimately was the owners fault he should have fired Krause the moment he started being the source of friction with players that mattered and Phil Jackson.
That dude was just trying to cover himself in case the family tried to sue for defamation or something. The very notion of the documentary was that Krause was dismantling a team on its way to a 2nd 3peat. That's equivalent to firing your hardest working employee. How was he NOT going to look like the bad guy? In defense of Pippen, Krause was trying to trade him half the time he was there. Imagine the person trying to effectively fire you grinning and celebrating with you when you helped achieve the highest level of success within the field. You might not like him either.
The one thing I have disliked since the 90s is the media and fans let Jerry Reinsdorf off the hook, because he was the puppet master pulling the strings behind the scenes. Jerry Krause was a Total company man, who allowed his Napoleon complex to get out of control. Krause was only doing Reinsdorf’s bidding. Krause seemed to take the perspective that he “was going to show those bullies who the boss is”, by telling Phil this was his last year (1998). Never did understand why Jordan & Pippen Never took Reinsdorf on. Always thought Krause was an easy target given his physical appearance and personality. And why has no one in the media ever “put Jerry Reinsdorf on blast?”
People gotta stop being so sensitive…The beauty of The Last Dance was because it allowed some backstage access that the fans never had before and not everything was peaches and cream…Jordan said they wasn’t actually doing drugs in the locker room in the 80s…Scottie had all rights to not like Jerry he made that man a lot of money…it’s also unfortunate that his wife got booed, but I guarantee she left that stadium a billionaire 🤷🏾♂️
yeah, he should have been fired and Bulls should have hire a GM that is capable of putting a championship team together. that new guy could find those right pieces 🤣
It's easier to win championships with poor administrative leadership and great players than winning with poor players and great front office leaders. The players are more key. LeBron moved to be with great players.
THEY DID NOT BOO HER! They showed Krause's picture, BOOING begins, then they shifted to her, where the boos SEEMED to be at her. So, to be clear, Krause is the villain, in The Last Dance, like it or not, but someone on the Bulls' staff was obviously deaf to all the hate. HAD they just showed her and NOT Jerry, this never happens!
Oh, so the lady was crying because she thought they were booing her..She wasn’t crying because she thought they were booing her late husband, that presumably she loves dearly and still misses? Well that’s a whole lot more acceptable than 🥴
@Riles3152 if her or anyone in her family saw The Last Dance, the surprise at Bulls' fans reaction is how and why? Clearly the Bulls organization poorly planned this event, but how ANYONE thought that Krause would be positively received is mind-boggling. Bulls' fans CLEARLY have chosen Jordan and Jackson's side of that argument. The Last Dance saw to that. Deservedly or not.
As a Bulls fan this is a piss poor take. It was disrespectful af; 1. Dude is dead & for as much a f up he was towards the end, look at The Bulls franchise after Krause. They suck even worst 2. It’s his widow; so F ur feelings about Krause, show some respect for a grieving wife in her latter yrs.
The word was out on Jerry Krause, long before the last dance ever came out he was hated during their championship runs. However, it is pretty sickening. How they treated his wife.
Hell you see in the series when they introduced him getting booed by the crowd during the ring ceremony on the 1st episode. Chicagoans hated him since then.
I think they would've booed without The Last Dance. The tension had been already known and documented during their playing days. So since he had been dead for just 3 years, and the NBA likes to protect the image of their owners, and really to the point of being hypocritical when it comes to code of conduct with the players (NFL is the same way), plus the possibility of Krause's widow also watching the documentary, I think it was a good thing to leave it out.
For sure 100%. The people in charge of getting that poor woman in the arena to pay tribute to Krause were idiots. The people of Chicago hated Krause for breaking that team up and truth be known fans around the league felt the same way. Fans that were around during that time still have not forgot it and probably won't ever forget it. Krause was jealous and was getting rid of Phil Jackson, "even if he went 82-0." Jordan told Krause you get rid of Phil I'm leaving too and Krause STILL insisted on breaking up a team that just 3-peated for the second time.
We don't know how Jerry Krause thought about his players. We know some like how Jerry valued Tony Kukoc before his championship players and his comments about not bringing the championship team back even if the team wins 82-0 record in the following year.
how did he like Kukoc more? by bringing him to the team? Pippen was salty that Kukoc, as a rookie, was making more money than him, a 2nd player on a 3peat team. Like Pippen himself didn't sign his contract.
@@AVAXII NO DERANGED KRAUSE WAS BLACKMAILED BY JORDAN FOR HIM TO TAKE MOST MONEY. IF JORDAN THAT GOOD WHY HE DIDNT TAKE PAYCUT LIKE WESTBROOK NOW OR NOWITKI AND DUNCAN DID?

The crowd really didn’t “Boo” her, they were aiming it at Krause. I don’t think most of them knew he had passed (the casual fans aren’t that smart) until they showed the video of his wife. Then the larger portion of the crowd started to cheer to drown out the casuals that were booing. Messed up situation, but it was blown out of proportion due to out of context clips.
He is deflecting blame. Pippin comments were messed up but he the one who made the film so. What he talking about? They did a good job of making dude look the way he looked without Pippen comments
Michael and Phil kept that team focused with Pippen missing most of the regular season and Rodman periodically wandering off! A repeat 3peat and a team for the ages! Airness!
But Shannon sharpe blamed MJ for the hate Krause got nah the fans hated him for what transpired but they need to get over it’s been 26 years it’s time to let it go
The Public has always booed Jerry Krause. It was nothing new. The Bulls should have anticipated it and should have invited somebody else to represent him...
Jerry Krause's contribution to that Bulls dynasty is highly underrated. 1. He traded MJ's best friend on the team Oakley for Cartwright, which was the right move and required guts to go against your superstar in making the right decision. 2. JK fired Doug Collins, a successful coach and MJ's favourite to promote Phil Jackson, an unknown unproven entity at that point and got the buy in promoting Tex Winter's genius traingle offense which was ahead of its time at the time. Again bold and impactful moves. 3. Drafting Kukoc and trading for sworn enemy Rodman against the wishes of his superstars on the team required guts and were the right moves. Ofcourse, his big mistake was not prolonging that dynasty in 98... Which was egregious. This guy JK should however be the inspiration for current GMs who are sold on mollycoddling their superstars and making bone headed decisions.
Great points, but Jordan is so lionized, that any success anyone had with either playing on, coaching, or assembling that team will always be viewed as a product of Jordan’s greatness. Scottie was an awesome player, but had a lot of really damaging moments. And anyone else within Jordan’s orbit will always be marginalized to some degree. The way it goes when the media and fans worship you.
No doubt he made correct decisions , but he will lack respect cause he ended that championship tier in 98, nobody resets their organization after winning a title , when they could have probably even won one more if they bring back the same core , that’s where he fxcked up
@JoeD-gy7cx not marginalize but put into context. The Bulls are a product of Jordan's greatness that's undeniable but that dosent mean he did it alone. Jordan never had the best supporting cast in the league. Many GM ddid what Krause did but they weren't gifted Jordan as their franchise player.
Disagree he did good but not better than any other good GMs did at that time. Those GMs weren't gifted Jordan. Krause missed many good players Rodman, Malone, Price 86. R.Miller, R.Lewis, KJ 87. M.finley 96, Tim Hardaway & Kemp 89 etc.
The fans are still upset that Jerry Krause was the catalyst for destroying that dynasty before it's time. Jerry was a great GM but his ego got in the way. Reinsdorf gave him a bit too much control
He was not a great GM they had Michael Jordan who knew how to get everybody involved and make everybody better that’s why they won Jerry appreciated nothing though his wife did not deserve that response
@@Hunt9-qb1if nobody in their right mind can say he wasn't a great GM. He was the one who drafted Horace and Pippen and found Kukoc. He was also the one who got rid of Doug Collins for Phil. He also was the catalyst for the Oakley for Cartwright deal

i think you got it wrong charles. the way the documentary potrayed kraus as the bad guy and that the behaviour of the players toward him was justified. however, had that story been in the documentary, the players wishing him to die, maybe the viewers might have been more sympathetic to kraus and look at the players more negatively. the producer is feeling regret because he didnt tell a balanced story and feels responsible for how kraus's wife was treated

Scottie P took it the wrong way on the Last Dance series. It show how it was to play in Chicago in the 1990’s. 6 rings, wish they could get more but ownership, manager stopped it. Great team, great doc series. They shouldn’t have booed Mrs. Krause, where did the class go.
No shade to Jerry Krauss but he was in the right place at the right time! Jordan was already there and the only 2 players he brought in with actual talents were Kukoch and Rodman! Everybody else were role players that Jordan, Phil & Tex elevated their games! Horace Grant was motivated by Jordan's hatred towards him! It could've been ( back then) any role players, and when they came to Chicago you were going to play or PAY! So no, it wasn't Krauss's brilliant idea, it was Jordan's determination and fear that elevated EVERYBODY on that team!

The biggest disappointment is that we never got to see those Bulls compete against the 93-95 Rockets or the 99 Spurs. Would they have rolled through the entire 90’s?
Jerry Krause, as disliked as he was, is one of the greatest GMs in NBA history! He built the team. He put Phil Jackson in charge and gave him his job in Chicago. He made the draft picks and trades. He just didn't get along with MJ and Pip. So.. us Chicagoans didn't like him. He did his job extremely well tho and Pip dug his own grave with his contract.
He wasn't wise enough to get along with Phil, either. He resented Jackson's popularity as well. Obviously, next to the players', the coach is the next most visible factor. Of course he's going to get a high level of respect. Yet Krause had issues with that and wanted Phil out.
Agree with some of the comments here, Krause was despised way before the Last Dance, remember it very well in 90s how much hate Krause copped and tbf it was all justified.
I saw more Michael Jordan live games been to the stadium the Old Chicago Bulls Stadium and saw him play against the Detroit Pistons I've been watching all the Championships in playoff games of my Chicago Bulls I didn't even know that yes some stuff need to be unsaid to the public Chicago Bulls former general manager Jerry still put the Unstoppable balls team together
How are The Chicago Fans so despicable for being fans?? I blame the organization for bringing that woman out there. They should have known better. Whatever the reason that man was disliked in Chicago, it wasn’t gonna be a positive reso
MJ is the greatest. Shout out to the 80s/90s Bulls family. PIPPEN is a legend. Pippens was joking in the moment when he made that comment. Once a Bulls always a Bulls.👍🇺🇸
If you were a Bulls fan during those years you would have been upset with Krause because of the way the break up of the championship team was handled. We had the GOAT and 6 chips!
Without a doubt, if JK stayed out of the locker room, Chicago would easily have 8-10 chips…ALL he had to do is hire ONE guy and he would have had everyone else, mainly the GOAT and his supporting casts…sooo she would have been boo’d, his name will forever be boo’d
Being from the area, Chicagoans hated Krause from the moment it became public that he referred to Jordan as "the Bulls' property". Everything he did since then just made the situation worse. Trying to break up the team after 97 and then finally doing it after 98 pretty much ensured that he would be hated by the city for the rest of time. Also, Reinsdorf. Chicagoians hate him just as much, if not more than Krause.
The other thing is...how do you know she was crying because of the boos? She was probably crying because she missed her husband and all this bulls stuff brought back memories. I think even she know those boos wasnt for her. Im sure over the years while in chicago as they went out to eat or wherever...she heard some mean and nasty things said about him. Those boos was expected.. she knew it was coming... people are waaay too soft and karenish these days.
YOU CAN WIN CHAMPIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE,,,GO TO BATTLE WITH SOMEONE,,,,DEFEND THAT PERSON BUT NEVER REALLY KNOW THAT PERSON!!!! SCOTTIE PIPPEN FOR ALL HIS AMAZING SKILLS REALLY NEEDS PROFESSIONAL HELP,,,REAL TALK!!!!!
I can understand why Pippen felt that way about Krause, growing up in Hamburg, Ark poor and making to college and NBA, he signed a 13 million dollar contract, Pippen deserved more, because he became a great player, he couldn't renegotiate his contract, he blamed Krause!!
For better context Jerry Krause was immensely hated during the Bulls Dynasty. The Last Dance documentary had nothing to do with it. It only showed newer fans who weren't around to see it back then
Krause thought of the players as company property, took advantage of them and played them off each other, yet he tried to be one of the boys, despite this. This is why he was reviled. Because of their success and the player/celebrity-centered nba, the players had power. Too much power to be accepting, polite or cordial to Krause, so they hazed him hard and he appeared to be a awkward, helpless victim of social bullying. If Krause had thought of the players as humans with dignity, he would have been treated different.
Can y'all move past this already? MJ was my favorite player growing up but sheesh, do we really need to be constabtly rehashing and worshipping the 90's? 🙄😑
Krause caused his hate, don’t expect people to forgive for your sake. He could be a great person to her, she was fooled into participating, or has gone through life with blinders on.
Chicago fans are like Philly fans. Man won 6 titles off draft picks but they didn’t sign some nobody at some point so they still salty 30 years later. How the last 25 years been without him Chicago?
When the UC booed Mrs.Krause was honestly one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen during an NBA game. She didn’t deserve that at all, she wasn’t the one everyone hated.
Great video man nice behind the scenes take but hard for me to have a opinion on something I was not apart of really dope they did the last dance to watch I was a teenager thru the bulls run I'ma knick fan but Jerry Krause deserves alot more respect and recognition for sure because it truly is a collaborative effort.
Whatever happened with Jerry and the Bulls dynasty before, it was not worth booing his wife during the anniversary night. If Jerry was still alive and he attended the event, then all is fair.
If this was about player the NBA wouldnt care what got put in the documentary no matter how solacitous and how it might hurt his family or legacy in my opinion.
Fans booing Jerry Krauses's wife is one mans fault. That man is Jerry Krause himself in my opinion. He is the one that said the things he said and in the end broke up that Bulls dynasty too soon after MJ and his Bulls won their 6th chip in 8 years in June 1998. Krause forced MJ to retire a 2nd time by forcing Head Coach Phill Jackson out. MJ himself has even said years later that he wianted to carry on with that Bulls dynasty and defend their title. We could have gotten MJ and his Bulls in the NBA Finals in 1999 defending their title against David Robinson and a young Tim Duncan's Spurs team. Then against Shaq and Kobes Lakers in 2000. But we never got to see it.
That comment wasn't aired because it was gross and vile! It would have been by far, the nastiest comment throughout the doc, for sure! I'll always have respect for Pip and what he did on the floor, but his comments about MJ, "And Yeah, Some Were Warrented," are what I now consider, "Out Of Bounds,"" when you factor in this EXTREMELY GROSS STATEMENT, even if you loath someone! So Pip, what makes you any different from someone else you say, quote on quote, byrates his teammates with lockroom comments made as such? 🤔 Remember what was said that Pip said about the REAL REASON condolences weren't expressed when someone's father was murdered? How dispicably low down was that😱❓️ Moral of the story, "You can't verbally throw stones with the intent to hurt or harm, with this viseral type hatred in your heart."....
@UzbekWatermelon 1st off he played a big role in Jordan leaving for those 2 years and they could have had Phil Jackson Jordan T-mac and pippen on the same team Jordan took a wizard team to the playoffs wtf you think he would have done with that team
It wasn't disgusting what happened to Krause's wife. What was disgusting is the Chicago organization, whoever was in charge, being so out of touch they didn't realize the people of Chicago still hated Krause for it all these years later. And not just Chicago fans. Fans all over the league that loved Jordan and that team hate Krause for it to this day. It was incredibly shortsighted, incompetent, and idiotic to try to invite his widow to the arena and honor a man that is hated for all time. That is his legacy now.

I feel like Jerry Krause was a genius. In that he could architecturally pick players like a Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, Luc Longley,Tony Kucoc. Having the forcite to build a team around the great Michael Jordan to compliment him. Along with the great coaching of Phil Jackson. But, he made bold statements about organizations and players. When the players are bringing you championship after championship. You can't be talking like that. The owner Jerry R said he had a way of alienating himself. Also the owner should have had bigger balls. As a mediator between Krause and Phil Jackson beef. I believe Krause comments where straight up disrespectful slap in the face. It was weird hearing a GM talk about being aggressive in the player trading market. Why would you rebuild as if you are a struggling organization with a failing team? Early in the Last Dance documentary. Michael talked about the conspiracies surrounding player trading/not trying to win at all cost. How frustrating that was for him. He elaborated how this isn't the mind set or approach of a winning system. Michael was the ultimate winner. I think the whole player trading thing is weird. Like because they are coming off of consecutive championships. Maybe Krause mentality was guys like Scottie Pippen. Are more valuable to him as far as free trading market vs looking at them like set in stone Chicago Bulls players. I think that's bull shit and smells of corruption. You mean to to tell me a Number 2 player like Pippen. Can't get an exception of his contract extension? Compare NBA Player guaranteed salaries of today. I think think they was robbing players back then. Jordan should have been making way way more money. Robbing players like Pippen and most likely Phil Jackson as well. Think about the other famous NBA Dynasties like the Boston Celtics or the Los Angeles Lakers. To my knowledge we never heard owners like Red Auerbach or Jerry Buss. Allowing a GM to make comments as Krause did. Jerry Reinsdorf was a fool for allowing such blatant disrespect. Maybe he was just playing dumb. Because him and Krause was seeing dollar signs. We was robbed of seeing the Chicago Bulls win more championships. The Bulls that beat the tough as nails Utah Jazz. Would have easily kept winning into the 2000"s in my humble opinion. After all Shaq and Kobe took off when Phil Jackson took charge. Most importantly Michael Jordan Pippen all those guys where robbed of this. They wasnt even allowed to defend their honors on the basketball court.
It's not the fans fault but the Bulls management thinking its a good idea to bring the widow. People shouldn't be hypocrite to what they feel just because the widow is there.
Sorry for the wife but by alot fo accounts her husband was an asshole. Ppl need to realize what they do effects more than just them. I think the Chicago fan base has every right to be upset with Jerry Krause as he broke up a dynasty to his ego. He wanted to show he could win titles without the greatest duo ever, the greatest player and the greatest coach of all-time. It is totally fair to boo him. When you die it doesn't erase everything you did, good or bad.
Scottie was angry at the organization because he signed a shiity deal and Krause was low hanging fruit. I think it was good not to show Scottie saying those things especially considering Krause wasn't here to defend himself and give his side of the story

Krause was a Great talent evaluator actually & hired Phil and put the perfect compliment of players around Jordan. Dude's problem was his ego and place in the hierarchy of things.
Watching This clip about how Krause was hated by the team and hearing all this noise about le flap and him being the goat it occurred to me that the players and coach still followed his directives. Can u imagine if Jordan did to management like le flop does , how many titles would they have making Jerry keep resigning the core of Jackson, Jordan, Pippen and Rodman?? At least 2 more easy!
Joking around in a locker room is now cause for concern? Grow up. When guys get around each other, we say and do stupid stuff, laugh it off and move on. This is something about nothing.
Krause’s repeated mistake was trying to take too much credit for the Bulls winning. Anybody who watched that Bulls dynasty clearly overstood that the most important aspect was the players. He undermined them by stating that Phil Jackson would not be back even if he went 82-0. It’s easy to see that type of arrogance from upper management was not going to sit well with a player like Jordan. Plus Pippen’s comment probably was more driven by the fact he was drastically underpaid.

I saw another show on Chicago bull back in the days. They were talking about Scottie Pippen contract ? He had a bad contract.
-calls Warriors one of the best run organizations The same organization that basically enabled Draymond Green's toxic behavior, allowed him to punch Jordan Poole and not only was he not punished for it, but Jordan Poole was traded and Draymond continued to be causing problems for the team with his ridiculous suspensions? Steve Kerr is not a good coach, I am sorry. All he did was took over a team that was already built, and he takes all the credit. When he has to actually build from the ground up, he is shown to be very incompetent and the Warriors under him have shown that they are a below average team or fringe playoff team if they don't have the deck totally stacked. He benefited from having a super talented team and excellent assistant coaches in Mike Brown
Krause's decision to let Phil Jackson go even though the Bulls made its 2nd 3peat may be a good thing. He may not deserve respect but he doesn't have to be disrespected in that way, which his widowed wife had to experience. Shame on those fans who did the booing.
No disrespect to Krause or his wife and im not saying its right...but i have a feeling those fans wouldve booed anyways because its not like it was a secret that Jerry Krause broke up the team and he was extremely vocal about it. Thats why theyre called "fans" aka fanatics. Bulls fans are diehard so they are well aware of the history of the breakup of the dynasty. The Last Dance didnt break any news on that front, especially not in Chicago. Not saying it was right because it wasnt...but he broke up maybe the greatest dynasty ever and they still havent gotten over it especially seeing how bad theyve been since 1998.
Facts.
Ungrateful people from Chicago. Shocking! 😅 you people need help
SCOTTIE THE GOAT . The last dance is PROPOGANDA trash . They feed you false narratives
He didn’t let Horace leave,Horace mind was made up on leaving no matter what and the acquisition of Rodman more than made up for that
FACTS
6 rings!
Horse Grant...naaaaaaay! 🐎 🏀
You’re all class. Ever met your father?
Yeah it did seem like Reinsdorf loved having Krause around as the 'bad cop' to take all the heat.
Are you confusing Krause and Reinsdorf? Krause was not a billionaire. You must be confusing the owner Reinsdorf for Krause.

As a Bulls fan this is a piss poor take. It was disrespectful af;
1. Dude is dead & for as much a f up he was towards the end, look at The Bulls franchise after Krause. They suck even worst

The Public has always booed Jerry Krause. It was nothing new. The Bulls should have anticipated it and should have invited somebody else to represent him...
agreed, the booing was no surprise.

Remember what was said that Pip said about the REAL REASON condolences weren't expressed when someone's father was murdered? How dispicably low down was that😱❓️
Moral of the story, "You can't verbally throw stones with the intent to hurt or harm, with this viseral type hatred in your heart."....
Also got to remember back then players wasn't over paid like today and Jerry made alot of bad decisions bc he could have gotten at least 2 more rings
Please explain in detail how The Bulls could have had 2 more titles because of Jerry Krause and NOT because of age and Jerry Reinsdorf.
@UzbekWatermelon 1st off he played a big role in Jordan leaving for those 2 years and they could have had Phil Jackson Jordan T-mac and pippen on the same team Jordan took a wizard team to the playoffs wtf you think he would have done with that team
@@ezanderson8834
Jordan took a wizard team to the playoffs?
@@ezanderson8834 Retarded take, lol.
It's been 25-30 years and 6 championships were won. If you still need to boo a dead man with his widow representing, that's sad.
@@colinginty625 They didn't like him when he was a live, you thought they would when he was dead? Having an event to honor Krause in Chicago is hilariously bad decision making. As I said before, completely out of touch.
Krause was brilliant. Doesn't get enough credit. He put the entire thing together. Pippen is now the butt of everyones jokes
Chicago bulls fans were classless with jerry kraus wife...
I didn't listen to it, but if it's about a dead man and it is so far outside of the daily happenings that the NBA said leave it out, you probably too, should have left it alone. I'm pretty sure I don't want to hear it.
always remember while jorden was playing base ball scottie quitting on his team in the playoffs when they were down now the bulls won the game his teammates never forgave him. Scottie is a clown
U never heard scottie say a word the entire time he played. He was always the quiet seemingly humble guy and now he aint shut up since the day espn put him on tv😂😂😂
Scottie Pippen should have left the bulls after the 1st 3pete. He may or may not have won another chip, but I think he probably would be less bitter about his career with MJ & the bulls organization.....Also there is no guarantee the Bulls make it back either.
@@blunt2416 he wouldn’t of been a Hall of Famer if he hadn’t stayed with Mike
@@blunt2416 their chances of going for #7 was good. Like MJ said they deserved to compete until they lose.
@@gsteve8198 I'm not Talking about going for # 7 as they definitely would have made it back. But I am referring to them 3 peating a 2nd go round If pippen up & decided to bounce after the 1st 3pete....He got screwed on his contract & based on that alone he should have left.
@@blunt2416 Pippen screwed himself by not listening to Jordan and reinsdorf. He knew if he signed that deal with reinsdorf he wasn't going to change it. Pippen under valued himself
A reputable GM and owner would have redone Scottie Pippin's contract...on merit. A lot of the disrespect from the players towards Krause started with 10 years---10 million.
He broke up the greatest run of all time in sports. They were undefeated and well on their way to more titles.
He was mad because he was on a bad contract. He asked Michael Jordan for help. Michael didn't care. I think he had a ten year contract. Something like that? Any person would be mad? Scottie outplay his contract. Do your research on Scottie. I told you they wasn't friend when they would play. I saw a Interview on Roman talking about Michael and Scottie. I saw another show on Chicago bull back in the days. They were talking about Scottie Pippen contract ? He had a bad contract.
You had to google what a cattle prod is?
-calls Warriors one of the best run organizations
The same organization that basically enabled Draymond Green's toxic behavior, allowed him to punch Jordan Poole and not only was he not punished for it, but Jordan Poole was traded and Draymond continued to be causing problems for the team with his ridiculous suspensions?
Steve Kerr is not a good coach, I am sorry. All he did was took over a team that was already built, and he takes all the credit. When he has to actually build from the ground up, he is shown to be very incompetent and the Warriors under him have shown that they are a below average team or fringe playoff team if they don't have the deck totally stacked. He benefited from having a super talented team and excellent assistant coaches in Mike Brown
And they say the Detroit Pistons lack class.... very rich!!!! They can have the 3 peats.....
Not saying it was right because it wasnt...but he broke up maybe the greatest dynasty ever and they still havent gotten over it especially seeing how bad theyve been since 1998.
wow that is just such a distasteful comment, granted everyone hates Krause for what he did, but still doesn't excuse such a comment
Scottie goes after MJ same way yall go after Lebron 🤷🏾♂️
