1:00 Lifesteal does not benefit from heal/shield power. It does, however, benefit from the 10% amp when sub 40% life.

What's the point of Ravenous Hydra on Shen outside of some lifesteal? I would argue that the tankiness of Titanic Hydra is way better. Shen is not an on-hit type of champ. Ravenous usually requires you to build attack speed as well.
He said it in the video. It's the +20 ability haste that makes him choose it since (in his words) more ultimates will carry games harder than winning top lane.

I feel like the Rav Hydra is filling the same function as the Warmogs in keeping you on the map, but with more dmg and in combat sustain.
I like to watch more videos without anyones face. That way its just about game with commenteries, not acting/screaming/something else on camera.

Xpetu, i wonder; in these "correct thing is to not interact" matchups, would shen be able to proxy post bami/tiamat? I could, potentially, see a way where your E allows you to escape/waste time, and possibly even R out to create counterplay on the other side of the map, while their jungler tries to deal with you? Just wondering if this would be an option! Love the content!

3:01:45 Not sure if you read late comments on your stream videos, but what you're describing here is exactly what some musicians like Joe Zawinul of Weather Report like to do. He 'trips himself' up by deliberately inverting the order of keys on his keyboards (pitch goes down from left to right), and he claims that it helps him think in ways outside of the muscle memory of his fingers. It may be a fruitful exercise for some.

I was just wondering about your face today and then you started commenting why you don't show it. Leggit reasonts and another show of a very mature character.
Without critical damage items, the hydra is weak. Maybe you can play with a "statically sharpened" item for the wave wedge and other charging items. And a helicopter in runes. To dominate the line hard. But I think it can only be played if there is a support tank or a jungle tank in the game.
a combo with a "helicopter" is five super-fast hits. But it seems that this streamer is too old for new combos (

i play GarenSupport and my favorite build is Mercs, Heartsteal (get stacks first)/Warmogs, into Sundered/Infinity, into anything (usually grievous wounds item). (A Must against Warwick)

I feel like shen should get less gains from missing q like you have said s13, but instead of nerfing unempowered Q, give empowered Q one extra auto. This would allow lethal shempo to be more viable and on hit builds for 1v1 losing match ups become more favorable. There are so many champs that make laning impossible and it feels like you have to pray you have winning hyper carry. If you have a fed team it doesn't seem to help if you're shen or some other champion (meaning its almost negligible, obviously shen R would help more than lets say a losing daruis). Or instead of buffing 1v1 ability, what about split pushing ability? Shen q should be able to be applied to towers, so you don't feel the need to always R and thus end up losing experience and falling behind. Nerfing Q on patch 13.2 has permanently put shen in such a weird spot. There needs to be some kind of buff that allows him to be a really good bully early, or make him viable to split push. Not necessarily make him the best split pusher, but better than he is now so you're rewarded for being patient with R and splitting.
