It's such an amazing place. Everyone can get that close. The highway to the beach runs right in front of the gateway to Mars launch complex. It's going to be almost impossible to close that road there's already a lot of resistance when they close it a few times a year for the launches. So unless they put up a hundred foot tall fence surrounding the entire complex, will always be able to look in and check things out
I'm going to get some better video for flight 4. I'll be staying at the Raptor Roost which is only 3.8 miles away and I'll be able to do a better job this time with tracking because I've been practicing and I'm going to make a slight change to my tripod setup
I've actually paid already to stay at the ranch. I like those people very much, and I'm on the Discord chat. But my problem is I need to be able to sleep in my car right at the viewing area, and the ranch does not allow that at the Outpost. So I'm going to show up early hang out at the ranch for a while and then before they close Highway 4 I'm going to drive over to the Raptor Roost and that's where I'll actually spend the night. So I'm paying for two places LOL
I did talk to him for quite a while. His name is joe. He's an ex Air Force pilot, he has extensive experience in fighter jets. His beautiful companion is Elsa. That's one of the first pre-ordered cybertrucks. It cost him $99k, and it's fully loaded with everything except the three motor option. He says the newer ones with less features can be had for as low as 78k. Plus he also said that the government will kick in a $7,000 rebate. It's still an affordable for me though.
