Solo Wild Camping and Hiking New Zealand - Lake Kaurapataka

A solo overnight adventure in Arthurs Pass. Starting off on a peice of Te Araroa Trail I cross the Otira river and head up the Taramakau Valley making my way to Lake Kaurapataka for a nice, although a bit windy, night of wild camping.
The next day I complete the loop by heading down the Otehake river joining back up with the Taramakau Valley and crossing the Otira river again.
