Yeah, my friends and I are still pretty new to the game, we ended up getting 2 ghosts with writing evidence, I'm glad that me and another friend watch Insym to know ghost behaviors, we were able to actually get them right!
My friends are pretty casual and feel much more comfortable getting all 3 evidences. We went 3-0 this weekly because thanks to Insym I have become more confident in seeing behaviors that help eliminate ghost types even without checking their evidence.
Still much better than no lights challenge where we only had like 3/7 evidences. Got a ghost with 3 evidences I couldn't get, no evidence run lets gooo
There is a weird bug. Sometimes when using the Dots projector Lv.3, it will disappear, and spawn back to the Van, but you can't pick it up anymore because it's wrong way around in the van, it's on, and you can see dots coming through the outside of van.

I only recently started, just before this recent update. My second ghost was a demon, so the devs hadn't implemented the ghost change you mentioned at the beginning of the 3rd round.

I think they do lots of t1 and t3 challenges to avoid too much t2 since we've seen the t2 items for way longer and they prolly don't want it to feel repetitive, but honestly I'd love to see challenges use t2 as a baseline and depending on the challenge to buff some items up to t3 and nerf others down to t1 to fit the intended playstyle of the challenge
I don’t think this challenge took more than 30 minutes actually. This was so insanely easy. I’d also like to add that the fact that tarot cards were guaranteed made this the most fun challenge with friends
I remember making a meme on Reddit when this challenge first came out with something like "Modern mental health medicine? No! Old flashlights from the prehistoric era that ate a pack of batteries every half an hour? Marvel of technology, you get 4 of them!!!" Glad to see they switched it around this time. :D
T3 motion sensor is pretty useful. My ghosts and the evidences in order: Ghost 1 in Girls Bedroom: Spirit Box, EMF 5, twinteraction sound, Freezing, The Twins. Ghost 2 in Utility: Spirit Box, Ultraviolet, DOTS, Phantom. Ghost 3 in Boys Bedroom: Double door sound and slammed the door shut, Yurei
I’ve noticed that every time I log on and play Phasmo each time there’s a different ghost that is really common and it changes every time I get on. Like I was just playing maybe 30 minutes ago I played 12 games and 8 of those times the ghost was a mimic which is absolutely insane. That’s a 67% rate of getting the mimic. I was playing no evidence and ghost room change high, so I ended up just getting annoyed and getting off.
if you have money to spare, you could consider getting the Bigscreen Beyond vr headset. it's the lightest and most comfortable hmd on the market, by a huge shot, but also very expensive. the quest 3 is much lighter than the index and also affordable tho

This was the first daily i ever played and my first Ghost was Mimic and i got it because the Ghost gave me freezing and orb (obviously) and i think it was UV and i was really lucky to even get it. Last Ghost was Revenant... i'm so glad it didn't hunt once.
that has absolutely 100% has to do with the banshee. ive had banshees ignore me and immediately go after a teammate that was hiding on a different floor and managing to find them exactly like a deo would. im still pretty confused about how they work because of this
2500 hours is 104 days of playtime. If you played 8 hours every single day it would take 312 days to reach 2500 hours. Which if you played 5 days a week like a day job it would be 1.2 years of work, ignoring holidays.
I got unlucky this week and got 3 ghosts that had ghost writings as evidence. I've noticed that they wouldn't interact very much either, so I'm inclined to think there's low ghost activity in the settings as well.
I started playing about a month ago. I never got a Demon or Deo until after I passed level 10 and also unlocked the Crucifix (specifically for Demon). Am currently level 16 still on amateur because this games scares me lol

I have 30 000 hours on Guild Wars, about 6000 on Smite, 1500 on GTA V, over 1500 on Age of Empires 2; 730 on Team Fortress 2, 550 on For Honor and 470 on Phasmophobia and probably thousands on Unreal Tournament 2004 but I have no way of knowing how many exactly cus it wasn't on steam
If they wanted to make the Tier 3 thermo competitive they need to make it a click and on temp reading and no variation...otherwise it will forever be worse the then tier 1 thermo. This weeks challegne was fun though i got shafted with two of the three ghosts being hard to tell as one was wraith and would have been super easy to check with salt and motion and then the second one one was a ghost writing ghost :( Still 10/10 Challenge and was super excited to play it. I am excited for the halloween update challenge as well.
I'm kinda sad because I really want to play some Phasmo right now, with the new update and the weeklies, but my GPU doesn't support it so it crashes. At least I get to see your vids (now I'm a complete expert on almost all game mechanics, but I can't use my knowledge ripperoni)
I played with a friend the other day, it was their very first game. It was a demon. So if it is implemented that new players dont get such ghosts than only for singleplayer
If i could only play one game for the rest of my life it would probably be the sims 4, asides from league and mario galaxy i probably have the most hours in that game, and its just the most replayable one from those choices

There is no leveling on ghosts. They are completely random. When I first started phasmaphobia, my very first ghost was a Thaye and my second ghost was a demon. I died both times. I was not happy😂
to be fair 2500+ hours isn't that worse than my 7K hours in total in a mmorpg game and my idk since 12 or 13 years now game with like over 10k hours in league of garbage D: so you do well there :D EDIT: i just got to the point where you said you play league, now i'm even more proud to watch your videos :D but true, league is a total time eater, understandable to quit it xD

Yeah, this is a reported bug on the Phasmo discord. Unsure if it’s fixed in the Halloween 23’ update though.

T1 thermo. It is so useful right now for finding out the ghost room completely passively. They might fix it later on but right now that thermo is OP.

challenge was pretty chill had to play 5 rounds, after the first round i already knew my routine. Died 4th round with two evidence, guessed correctly
Every 1st card ive pulled from tarot cards has been devil or death and nearly killing my brother every time in the process
