Since Luka came in the league, so including well before Kyrie landed in Dallas, the mavericks have been the 4th most winning team IN THE PLAYOFFS during that span, averaging 31/10/10... The dude always puts up hall of fame numbers in the playoffs

He has absolutely no proficient IQ on defense. You can score, score, and score all day long but that won’t win championships. Defense wins championships and championships are the end all be all for the legacy of a player’s career. Any player people put in the Top 10 is a champion. That’s the one rule that is consistent. The Mavs have no consistent shot creator or playmaker on the team. Kyrie is not a number 1 option. Lebron has been giving Reaves the ball handling duties and playing off the ball when they're on the court. Luka is a bigger better version of Reaves. They just killed the Clippers and Knicks with no AD or Luka.
@ if Davis is healthy, he’s a beast. he will give them defense as well as 20+ points a game. not to mention Gafford and Livelys emergence, and Kyrie had a 20 plus season last year. Washington is a good plug and patch player and fills in the box score. I still think the Mavs came out ahead for the immediate future. that’s just my opinion tho

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see LeBron joining Kyrie & AD with the Mavericks! LeBron has made no secret of his wishing to reunite with Kyrie, and, out of the two teams, I would think that Dallas is better-situated as far as championship potential than is L.A.
As far as the Lakers, I would think that they're gonna HAVE TO trade LeBron, now that they have Luka. Keeping him around, he'll only serve as an anchor on Luka's ball-dominant tendencies. If LeBron doesn't have the ball, he's not able to "direct" the offense, and, LeBron has NEVER allowed anyone else to be more ball-dominant than him.
Plus, now, they'd be saddled with TWO starters who are notorious for their extended defensive lapses. NO team can be competitive trying to defend five players with three!
Also (and, this is a big one), both LeBron and Luka are extremely given toward barking back & forth with the referees, after missed shots, instead of hustling back on defense, with the rest of the team. One whiner is distracting enough. Now, the Lakers not only have two whiners, but, the two biggest whiners in the entire league!
