- The village of Broad Haven in Wales has been dubbed a "mecca" for Unidentified Flying Object fans and enthusiasts from around the world, with people reportedly seeing aliens.
Author, Dr David Whitehouse explains to Talk's Kevin O'Sullivan, that stories of UFOs get embellished over the years. He says: "The fundamentals aren't true."
Kevin says: "The bit where my credibility, shall we say over stretched... was the silver guy with silver ears."

I find it very hard to believe that a whole class of young school children could conspire together to completely fabricate such a lie.

Myself and my husband in 1976 went to wales, cutting along story short we has an experience along with a couple of other people, it involved several UFOs. There was a lot of sightings in Wales during that period and I for one can categorically tell you we DID have this exceptional experience.
There was a book talking about it called 'The Welsh Triangle ' , amazing mystery .
@@williampowers328 Many people have seen the Black triangle, this is supposedly the reverse engineered TRB3. In Belgium the black triangle type was witnessed by hundreds of people. I'm glad to see that people no longer fear talking about this subject
Perhaps we will one day learn to except that alien life is normal and natural. The Canadian defense minister one said that they are as real as the planes in the sky, he said that there are 70 different species and there is a galactic federation. I'm not completely sold on this whole idea, but still it is very interesting
These debunkers are all the same, the thing is he was not there! I have seen this case before and when interviewed, as now adults still confirmed this story!
These craft are not all saucer shaped, some are triangular shaped and very large

One guy who turned up at a pub fancy dress in a silver suit months after the kids claimed to have seen the saucer did so to have his pics taken by the local rag and send up the many sightings in the area, which had become notorious. In all there were over 200 separate sightings -including some prior to the school incident - and a mass sighting of a large triangular object on one night in a nearby town. To suggest the only reason for all this was the prankster is absurd.
It was more than 200 in Broadhaven , Swansea was 200.
The whole interview was simply about him and the limits of his own filter and seemed unrelated to the actual case
Exactly! The BBC programme started off as a light-hearted documentary about kids allegedly seeing a flying saucer near their school, but soon changed to something far more serious with hundreds of witnesses to numerous events that often plagued them for the rest of their lives because of stigma and ridicule.
Fair play to the journalist presenting the programme for sourcing declassified document D/D58/10/209 19/1/1983, which holds the recorded statements from multiple unconnected parties who saw the large triangular vessel.
None of this matters anymore, this is just another weak attempt to ridicule the subject and sweep it back under the carpet. There are now high tier senior military officers that have come out to say this is subject is real
I recommend anyone interested in this case to pick up a copy of The Uninvited by Clive Herold; it’s focus is predominantly n the experience of the Coombes family and the events at Ripperston Farm though it does touch on other sightings in the Broadhaven Area

There's a series about the Broad Haven UFO on BBC right now called Paranormal. Apparently the guy in the Fire suit was a separate incident in the local area.
There was more sightings of the silver suited guy than just the hoaxer , referenced in the recent bbc documentary and the Netflix documentary

This is behind the times now, American Top gun pilots have witnessed these craft and the Navy radar operators have seen the same craft coming down from space down to sea level, making maneuvers which defy our laws of physics

Kenneth Arnold summed it all up in one of his final interviews. He said, he believed everyone who claimed to see flying saucers was lying. This is because in the late 1940's he saw 9 cresent shaped objects which the press dubbed flying saucers and the very next day everyone reported seeing flying saucers not cresent shapes. So either the aliens changed their craft shapes overnight or they were lying.
Only problem with that , is of course there has been a multitude of shapes and sizes seen over the last 80 years
@@JeVoudrais12 Not quite. Cigar shapes at the time of airships. Flying saucers at the time of Arnold. Triangles at the time of F117a etc. and strange lights the rest of the time. Kinda strange that aliens capable of travelling vast distances across space cannot agree the right shape for a spaceship, and all look like humans. Yet our cars for the last 100 years look like cars. Our motorbikes, cycles, trucks look the same shape for over 100 years.
Whats more human imagination can produce Star Wars and Star Trek with humans and funny noses.
