Also, if you think you have bedbugs, something that is pretty simple, yet effective, is that you can take a role of clear, packaging duck tape, and outline the bottom of your box springs and mattress (with sticky side on the outside), and if when those little bastards come sneaking out during the night to get their free blood meal, their legs will get stuck on the tape, and be trapped. Use push pins to secure the tape. I tried this on my sisters apartment, and after the 2nd night, we found like 10 bedbugs that got stuck on the tape....just a thought...

@Reece A you are Soo wrong. England is heaven for them.i once visited England from India. Found them all over the bed in hotel. I was sleeping in the sitting position on the dining table of the hotel. I did this for 2 weeks and then I was back to my country heaven.
God damn it’s 2am and I’m right here. Found one on my shirt as I went to the bathroom and another one during a quick inspection. I need some sleep...work early and I can tell I’m in for a loooooong day.
You say bed bugs don't generally go on the bed frames. But in my case I knew there were bed bugs but I could not find them, it happens to be they were hiding inside where the metal meets the wheel. Around 50 bugs in each wheel. Those sukers are a master in hiding.
As a professional cleaner I appreciate you making this video to give some idea as to how to look for bed bugs in customer homes. At least I can to a visual inspection now with some degree of training behind me.
Great video. While checking the bed, it's also good to spray few seconds inside the boxspring with household insecticide, baygon or similar, if no bed bugs are visible after inspection. If they are hiding there, spraying won't probably kill them, but makes them come move around within an hour.
The fact the bed bugs I had made a whole 4 hour trip to me and a 4 hour trip to the bottom of my bed is dedication that I don’t have. Anyway we threw out our hold bed frame and matress and now I’m traumatized
Bed Bug Removal I started to notice some bites in January of this year but new nothing about killing bed bugs. To prepare I watched video after video showing the different methods of removing them. I could not afford a professional service so I did this. I waited until we had a forecast high of 115F or 45C. I did this so the bugs could not go deep into the walls and survive. With the outside temperature hot enough to kill them on its own, I blasted the heat and fans inside. I held between 122 and 126 for almost 8 hours in my trailer using the excessive temperature to kill. I used heat from three 1500 watt baseboard heaters. Then instead of renting big fans at about $40.00 per day I bought a 20 inch or 50 cm box fan from Canadian Tire for the same price to add to the 5 household fans I already own. If your area is larger buy more fans. I had plans to buy three box fans but they were sold out because of our heat wave. For me this was OK because I have a floor standing air conditioner and used the fan to compensate. With a combination of laundering and heat drying all fabrics, including all bedding and clothes, then heating my place up to a sufficient temperature, I am now bug free. People remember heat treatments work best at the hottest part of the year when bugs can not find holes in the vapor barrier and crawl near the outer wall to stay safe, because the outside temperatures are too hot for that option. In winter heat will not work for this reason, but during hot days it is pretty much a sure kill, if you have enough heat and fans. Hope this helps some of you as well as it did me. My total cost for laundry, fans and power, was about $190.00 and I now own all the fans. The heaters I already owned. If you need to buy them this of course this will up costs. To give you an idea my trailer is my holiday trailer and the floor area is 200 sq. ft. Scale your equipment up as needed. If it happens again I am now prepared in full .
its pads the sharp edges on the bed frame from ripping and tearing the bed encasements that are on the box spring, the felt is a very important part of encasing your bed as it greatly extends the life of encasements
13 year old video still the most helpful video on how to check the box spring because every other video focuses on the mattress…. Thank you this was very helpful
I live in an old and unsanitary residence building. I found a bed bug crawling on me. I took all my sheets and everything off, shook everything off that I can't wash right away so I can sleep without worse anxiety... I examined every single item on my bed, including seams on the mattress (which is disgusting by the way, covered in stains and food, I hate this place but I'm stuck here until the end of the semester), and found no other bed bugs. Maintenance is going to come do something in a few days. I did find a hole in the cover of the mattress though, and I put tape over it lol to relieve my anxiety overnight. Maybe they live INSIDE the mattress??? I really don't know. I am now paranoid and am leaving bad reviews everywhere I can on where I am staying.
In all honesty, I thought bed bugs didn't actually exist and we're just a joke made up for some reason. Maybe it's because they are just called "bed" bugs.
2:16 Look at the top of the mattress in the piping and the label 3:39 lift the mattress and look in the piping on the bottom 4:05 look in the piping on top of the box springs. 4:25 look at the bottom of the box springs.
so this damn video just had me tearing my room apart and inspecting the floors and every crack and crevice like a meth head.....no bed bugs, found a dead micro snail thing on the floor and a fossilized Cheeto however. thank God that's all.
yes, they can infest just about anything inside the home but most commonly are found in the beds and the furniture and items surrounding the bed (i.e. nightstands, items under the bed, etc...)
update, if anyone cares or would find it useful: i used a steamer meant for clothes and steamed out each spot i found an infestation. then vaccuumed up the bodies. sprayed windex on the area for good measure to make sure the bugs+eggs were dead. havent seen any for 2 days but i will keep an eye out. i also put my beddings in the dryer first on a hot cycle for 20 mins to make sure that if any were hiding in the sheets, theyre dead.
-ATENTION- I just got free of it on 6 diffrent rooms. The secret that was missing after extermination and throw all the forniture to the garbage... was to put an eléctric extension with three entries and isolate all the eléctric terminals with silicon, before that the treatments were not resulting they were protected inside the wall on the NET electrical cables 👍 they can survive up to 1 year without feeding, so remember to check that silicone sometimes. This process saved my business.
I just threw out my roomates couch because I saw a bedbug running on it and when we pulled it away from the wall and inspected the seams I found/killed about a dozen medium or big sized ones. The couch is now out of the house and ive cleaned up the wood laminate floor surrounding the area and inspected the beds upstairs, everything else seems clear, I hope I caught and got rid of it before it spread anywhere else or got worse!
I have bites on my arms, hands and fingers that itch since the beginning of summertime. I thought they were misquote bites. But no one I knew had them as bad as me. One of the first things my fiancé and I did was check our bed for bed bugs. And we didn’t see anything. So i posted a photo of my arm with the bites on a Ulcerative Colitis group I’m a part of since I have that disease. Some guy told me they look like bed bug bites because his girlfriend had the same thing. I went to our bed again to get ready for bed and sure enough there was 8 tiny bugs crawling on top of our sheet. So I killed them by smashing them and once they were dead we took the sheet off our bed and looked all over and no bed bugs anywhere on the mattress or box spring. I’m sleeping on an air mattress and my fiancé is sleeping on the couch for now. I read online you can buy a mattress protectors for bed bugs that you’re supposed to leave on for 1 year and it will help kill any bed bugs you currently have and prevent any new ones. It cost $20-$30 depending on the size of your mattress. We are getting that the next time we go to Walmart.
it is currently 2:26 i saw a bug at 12:00 and i have ben looking at different pictures wondering if i have them. but one thing is for sure im not sleeping in my room tonight
Don’t start sleeping in another room, you’ll only attract them to you and infest that area too! They can ‘home in’ from 30m away in one night! They don’t spread disease, thank God, so stick with it and tackle them where you find them. That’s the science, so I’ve heard.
110 degrees will push the bugs off of the mattress, meaning they will try to escape, therefore if you get the mattress off of the ground that temperature will probably flush bugs off of the mattress but it will not kill any eggs that may be on it
*"We already talked about this ribbing so I'm not going to be redundant and talk about all that again..." **_As he immediately starts talking about all that again_** . Lol*
Like, the first minute and a half was a complete waste of time. I don't need to be told that lifting and moving a bed can be 'labor intensive'. Just SHUT THE F UP AND GET TO THE POINT OF THE VIDEO!!!!
I see bedbugs in my metal bedframe ALL THE TIME. Sometimes that's the only place they hide. Its very secure and private for them, and its rough lifting your whole bed out of it.
I have them and I caught an adult and that thing moved fast! The only reason I caught it is because I was already holding a piece of packing tape. I caught it as it ran by. It moved in a funny way, too, kind of "ambled" while it ran. But I also caught a tiny baby one that was not moving at all. You should google pictures and compare it to the pictures. They can look different and be different sizes depending on their stage. The most helpful picture I found showed them at a variety of stages.
Bedbugs usually visit you 5 times in their life cycles-they get bigger and darker as they age, but they are quite small and light when they first bite. By the way they are one of the few insects that feed their young.
I wonder if bed bugs get spread to hotels more because of people staying in them when they have bed bugs. I can see that it's tempting to go stay in a hotel if you think you have them, but I think it's really inconsiderate because you could have them on your clothes or belongings and just take them to a hotel and then spread it to tons of people. I got an air mattress and moved to the living room and haven't gotten bitten out there.
it's tough for one person to comment about another persons reactions, everybody reacts differently and reactions aren't a good way to determine if you have a problem or not, I would recommend seeing a dermatologist because the reaction only lasting 15-20 minutes isn't consistent with most other descriptions I've received
Step two, bed bugs are in the grass outside, in storage rooms and on pets etc. If someone has them in their home they should warn guests for damn sure!!!
I found out a woman 2 floors up was infested and it didn't help that I lived next to the laundry room (they could fall out of someones laundry basket and creep into my place). I brought anything made of fabric to the laundrymat and put everything in the dry on high, steamed the shit out of all the furniture, vacuumed everyday (took the vacuum outside to change the bags) and bought a new mattress set and encased them with bed-bug covers. Haven't seen once since (except for one carcass).
I find liberally dousing my bedding with gasoline and setting it afire just a few moments prior to retiring for the evening is an excellent method of keeping bedbugs under control.
I have been getting bit at night for about a month and I looked at my bed but my eyesight isn’t that good and I thought I was having allergic reactions to my meds so I had the doctor look and she just said to take Benedryll which didn’t help then I had a idea to get a strong flashlight and inspect my mattress . Those things were all over my bed and I didn’t even know . Now I start the long process of cleaning and getting a new bed . I checked my couch also and the blanket on it had a big bed bug so I watched this video and I am not in good health at all so my daughter is helping me but I am 58 and never seen a bed bug . They are terrible and I would not wish those things on anyone . The video helped me a lot so I will let my daughter check my new mattress 2 times a week because I am allergic to those things . Disgusting creatures .
if you have a box spring it's a preferred location for them to hide, if you don't have a box spring they will find somewhere else to hide, whether you have a box spring or not will not affect whether or not they infest your home...it only affects where they are hiding
My mother had them 6 months ago it cost her $2700 to have cleared. I am now extremely pairnoid. I had a pco come out to my new apartment because I had bits on my legs. The pco said he found nothing but spiders. He sprayed for the spiders. I know he looked and found nothing but I am still freaked out. I check my bed daily and just order a moniter. I would like to take his word for it but I can't.
If it's a bad infestation are there many thousand? If I am there only host, they all can't be using me as food. I just went through getting alot of bites, probably 75-100. And now, that's stopped. Do all the ones who didn't attack me die? I started looking on the internet and had to face the fact, these bites aren't fleas or mosquitoes but are the dreaded bed bugs. I've ordered a bunch of stuff to try and treat for them and the bed casings you recommend and the DE and a brand new Dyson. So far I think they're only in one room but I'll treat with DE in all electric plates. Thanks.
I’ve been dealing with these guys for too long. They infested my room four years ago, and we threw out tons of stuff: my clothes, desks, couch, the vacuum, etc. We chainsawed my wooden bed frame, threw it out, and replaced it with a new metal bed frame. We called in an expert two years later to inspect the room and clean everything, as well as replace the carpet with a new one. Even with all of that, I woke up yesterday with several red welts, and I came back home this afternoon and found a nymph on my mattress. I’m going to explode.
@@Uchihasasuk5100% this. Also very expensive method which works is have pest control heat up your entire house to 122F/50C, costs around $5,000 though. They're likely inside your walls..
my son is coming up w what looks like allergic reaction bumps on his back. I'm not sure if it's bed bugs . I've not seen signs of them otherwise.he, at one point, was getting little rashes here or there that were in a shape of an"s" . these allergic reactions are different big skin rash that looks like they are filled fluid, they get larger with time. I have not seen bed bugs nor do we have box springs. we've two beds side by side in one bedroom to accommodate the children. the older child has no bumps, rash, reaction. our couch is dark brown leather. I can follow the directions for the mattress to check for dead bugs, blood or encasements, but have not seen them. I'm thinking maybe child is allergic to something on bed but not sure.how can I check the dark couch and do bedbugs live in leather?
all questions for your doctor, what I can tell you is that everyone is different in regards to how much the bites itch and how long they take to go away
I'm not sure I can answer, whether they are glossy or not would depend on your perspective, they have some gloss to them but I wouldn't necessarily consider them glossy
I've never had these bugs until yesterday. I saw about 10 different bites on my arms after washing my clothes and inspecting my couch in living room I went to my bedroom and I found a dead one right in the middle of my bed, squeezed it and it was full of fresh blood (it was an adult). I used all your instructions in the video and my mattress, box and frame are super similar to the ones in the video. I didnt find any sign of them at all except that one dead one that i mentioned. could this be an isolated case of one bed bug that I brought from outside only?
it can be through the floor cracks little holes coming from any neighbour, i would hardly recommend to use that plastic that fully covers your bed its extremely important so they will not feed from you i tell u this by experience
The nice thing about bed bugs is they don't carry diseases like mosquitoes. In some countries like Canada people die from mosquito bites. according to the net 26 people have died from West Nile caused but mosquito bites. But bed bugs don't carry diseases like mosquitoes. In the US since 1999 2,000 people died from West Nile caused by mosquito bites. Also if you've been bitten by a mosquito and a bedbug like I have you will know that the mosquito bite is far worse in the bed bug bite.
Thx Jeff. We are not taking any chances, getting sprayed tomorrow again and having him back 2 weeks after that. Then I think it is off to a psychiatrist, LOL!!! Will keep you posted! Thanks again! - Sue D'Angelo (using my son's account, he was the one who slept at a friends and brought them home, so it's only fair!) LOL!
If it's treated by a professional, should we still get rid of the furniture?? how do you know if it's really gone after two treatments? what if the eggs are still there? thanks
while it is possible that bed bugs can bite one person and not the other, it's probably that one person is reacting and one is not, bed bugs typically bite on exposed skin surfaces such as arms, shoulders and neck but anything is possible
tough to say without seeing it myself, what I can say is that I've had mysterious reactions show up in 3's and rows (all typical of bed bugs) and not had bed bugs, sometimes random reactions show up in 3's....it happens
+Jeff White, I want to get a box spring encasement, but the legs of my bed are bolted into my box spring so it makes it much more difficult to encase. Are there any encasements out there that are designed for box springs with the legs of the bed bolted into them?
***** Ok I didn't know that. I have been searching online for these discs but haven't found them. Could you send me a link to where I can buy them? Thanks!
I have bed bugs and the only reason the pest control confirmed it is because I caught some under clear packing tape. I live in an apartment, so I don't get to choose the pest control company. Of the two guys sent out here, both tried to find them just by looking and neither could. I guess the bed bug inspection dog they have is just for show, to attract business. If I hadn't caught them, I bet they would have told me I didn't have them, even though I got lots of bites, some in a row.
I have the same bed and box spring in this video.... I have bed bugs & idk if I've ever seen one. I've seen carpet beetles, fleas, spiders, silverfish, and maybe mites. Anyways, all I saw were black spots and red spots. There were tons under the box spring. But the worst place..... were my 3 curtains hanging next to my bed. It looked so bad with all the spots. Encasing the mattress, box spring, and pillow in cheap $9 vinyl cases helps a lot. Make sure to duct tape the zipper line. GL! It's war!
Do you help people with spider mites indoors too ? This was a helpful video. I hope I don’t ever have bed bugs . You’ve got me wanting to check now tho . Lol . I’ll be checking to be on the safe side . I have every other bad bug you can think of on my property. They’re eating every plant on the property too. And seeing spider mites under my microscope makes my skin crawl and feel itchy . Don’t know if it’s psychosomatic or what . Thanks for the video either way 😊
If you truly want to check for bed bugs, set an alarm for the middle of the night, hours after you fell asleep. So like 2 or 3 am. Then you'll see them. Just lift your mattress, or some will already be in your bedding or crawling up a wall
The bed bugs that I find on my mattress look more like tiny centipedes which makes me think that they're carpet beetles. And I never get bug bites. I'm never itchy or anything nor do I find any bite marks. So my question is do carpet beetles behave in the same manner? i.e shell casings, reproduction.
My son keeps getting bites all over him , but I can't find one bug. No one else in the family is getting bitten apart from him. I am sure they are bed bugs because of the patterns they leave.
Wow wow wow I’m literally in the same situation with my son and I’ve being looking everywhere cleaning everything taking him to the doctors today to find what’s been biting him
Any update? Me my fiance and son keep getting ate up by something and I check all around my bed and mattress, the couches and under the cushions. And I don't see anything. I'm a nervous wreck. I cant find any fleas either. My fiance said it might be mites or chiggers.
Thanks for sharing. Bed bugs get their name from their habit of feeding on humans while they sleep in their beds. They are found in virtually every place people tend to gather, including residences, hotels, schools, offices, retail stores and even public transportation.

Great video. While checking the bed, it's also good to spray few seconds inside the boxspring with household insecticide, baygon or similar, if no bed bugs are visible after inspection. If they are hiding there, spraying won't probably kill them, but makes them come move around within an hour.

I hear it too lol
lol i thought it was my husband tgat was taking a nap next to me
+nerdgant we actually laugh about it and referenced it the other day when we were filming a new video....classic
Lol!!
The heck just! I thought it was me too!
The fact the bed bugs I had made a whole 4 hour trip to me and a 4 hour trip to the bottom of my bed is dedication that I don’t have. Anyway we threw out our hold bed frame and matress and now I’m traumatized
I actually found one following this video, tried to grab it with a chain saw and think i need a new mattress
HA HA
All these comments have me busting a gut!
Bed Bug Removal
I started to notice some bites in January of this year but new nothing about killing bed bugs.
What do you use the fans for?
.
@@007nadineL Fans force the hor air into small places of dead air heating them and not leaving any pockets unheated where bugs can survuve.
its pads the sharp edges on the bed frame from ripping and tearing the bed encasements that are on the box spring, the felt is a very important part of encasing your bed as it greatly extends the life of encasements
Yes they live inside, block the hole or purchase a mattress cover…
In all honesty, I thought bed bugs didn't actually exist and we're just a joke made up for some reason. Maybe it's because they are just called "bed" bugs.
Lol same with me I didn't think they were real I thought it was just a joke parents used when you were younger and in movies.
Holy shit you replied to a 6 year old comment. But anyway. Bed bugs are the mist common human parasite.
They are too annoying
I'm so GLAD I bought a memory foam mattress and metal bed frame. That was the best decision ever!
Why memory foam is the best decision?
I have a a memory foam topper but I saw a bug on it last night and I have had a rash
Reece A that’s not how proof works
Mine was not bed bugs it was a carpet beetle that I was allergic too
Holley87 Green eyes no one asked
Watching these videos makes me glad I have a bunk bed and no box spring
i jave 1 thats spring and rest memory foam
2:16 Look at the top of the mattress in the piping and the label
3:39 lift the mattress and look in the piping on the bottom
4:05 look in the piping on top of the box springs.
4:25 look at the bottom of the box springs.
Thanks for the info (12 years later)!
that was my favorite comment ever on any of the videos I've shot, absolutely classic
so this damn video just had me tearing my room apart and inspecting the floors and every crack and crevice like a meth head.....no bed bugs, found a dead micro snail thing on the floor and a fossilized Cheeto however. thank God that's all.
yes, they can infest just about anything inside the home but most commonly are found in the beds and the furniture and items surrounding the bed (i.e. nightstands, items under the bed, etc...)
Thank you thank you! What's your favorite products to use?
update, if anyone cares or would find it useful: i used a steamer meant for clothes and steamed out each spot i found an infestation. then vaccuumed up the bodies. sprayed windex on the area for good measure to make sure the bugs+eggs were dead. havent seen any for 2 days but i will keep an eye out.
i also put my beddings in the dryer first on a hot cycle for 20 mins to make sure that if any were hiding in the sheets, theyre dead.
BillNyeTheNaziSpy its 12:00 now and i stg i cant tell if this small bug was one or not fml
Don’t start sleeping in another room, you’ll only attract them to you and infest that area too! They can ‘home in’ from 30m away in one night! They don’t spread disease, thank God, so stick with it and tackle them where you find them. That’s the science, so I’ve heard.
Same
If you have them, they’re everywhere someone sleeps..
BillNyeTheNaziSpy its been 3 years, did you ever get rid of them?
I never knew "advertorial" was a word. Thank you Jeff!
Oh not my priceless plastic end caps!
110 degrees will push the bugs off of the mattress, meaning they will try to escape, therefore if you get the mattress off of the ground that temperature will probably flush bugs off of the mattress but it will not kill any eggs that may be on it
How do you kill the eggs?
Hey Jeff, great information. Keep up the good work!
this actually helped ny doing this i found 24 bed bugs and i think that was the last of it cause i fell nothing anymore. thanks :)
Well now I will throw my mattress out of the window!
LOL
I see bedbugs in my metal bedframe ALL THE TIME. Sometimes that's the only place they hide. Its very secure and private for them, and its rough lifting your whole bed out of it.
That guy remains me of me lol switched on man at job at hand! Well done.
I love how Micheal Scott is sitting in the quintessential room that would harbor a massive infestation. Those wooden walls man are a nightmare
It 12 am and I'm scared of falling asleep
AlejandroN2r2 OMG HERE HERE!!
Me too...now I know how they felt on Nightmare on Elm street.
9 years ago damn
Omar Aziz damn rip
It’s 4am for me these fckers are keeping me awake
Bedbugs usually visit you 5 times in their life cycles-they get bigger and darker as they age, but they are quite small and light when they first bite. By the way they are one of the few insects that feed their young.
this guy kinda reminds me of dewie from malcom in the middle
lol kinda
true
LoL Crispytreat no. Mr bean
That's incredible. I thought the EXACT SAME THING.
What is it about him I wonder? It's the talking, it's got to be.
Bought a second hand bed. Thanks for this
I wonder why a person would dislike this video?
Exactly. I thought he was a nice guy and very informative.
I am so glad I sleep in a hammock.! Were I work, with 260 beds and that will increase by 65 in two months, we have to treat 2 - 4 rooms daily.
Step one. Don't sit on a bed you think might have bed bugs.
Jess Britt Lol I didn’t sleep for 3 days
It's a practice matress... maybe try listening to him before you start "correcting" him
Inspect your hotel bed. Keep your case on the case stand. If you live in a area there’s Airbnb flats. Or guest houses.
Step two, bed bugs are in the grass outside, in storage rooms and on pets etc. If someone has them in their home they should warn guests for damn sure!!!
Or you could get a bug spray that will kill them
I found out a woman 2 floors up was infested and it didn't help that I lived next to the laundry room (they could fall out of someones laundry basket and creep into my place).
Beautifull ideas. I never thought of that. Thank you so much. You are great.
I find liberally dousing my bedding with gasoline and setting it afire just a few moments prior to retiring for the evening is an excellent method of keeping bedbugs under control.
Great idea lol
Puts a bed right next to wood, a door and a frame. Yes sir, you really made the perfect spot for the bugs to hide.
2:00 "an actual bed itself" lol
Best hand movements I've ever seen :P Great vid, thank you so much. About to go frantically check my bed, wish me luck!
What if you don't have a box spring? Just the mattress by itself and a bed? With those layers out sticks. If you know what I'm talking about?
you will get a fucking bed bugs city in your bed eventually
if you have a box spring it's a preferred location for them to hide, if you don't have a box spring they will find somewhere else to hide, whether you have a box spring or not will not affect whether or not they infest your home...it only affects where they are hiding
Heat them out machine cost like 50 bucks at lows
Check in your walls.
Thanks dude. Now I´m gonna sleep on the floor.
Is alcohol ok for spray around the bed?
all questions for your doctor, what I can tell you is that everyone is different in regards to how much the bites itch and how long they take to go away
Please reply to this, but i am wondering if bed bugs are glossy, or some kind of wet looking. Or are they matt looking (no shine).
I this k I might have them me an 11 year old help me
@@kayla-vr3dt You are 17 now - did you get help with your problem?
The nice thing about bed bugs is they don't carry diseases like mosquitoes. In some countries like Canada people die from mosquito bites. according to the net 26 people have died from West Nile caused but mosquito bites. But bed bugs don't carry diseases like mosquitoes. In the US since 1999 2,000 people died from West Nile caused by mosquito bites. Also if you've been bitten by a mosquito and a bedbug like I have you will know that the mosquito bite is far worse in the bed bug bite.
Jeff you said you were going to tell us about the green strip of felt on the bed spring, you forgot to do so.
Lmao
It's to ensure that the frame doesn't snag and tear the box spring encasement
How much do those encasement cost? I want to buy one but have no idea what they cost...
Great information on how to look for bed bugs!
What was the purpose of the green felt on the bed frame?
That wood wall would be a nightmare.
tough to say without seeing it myself, what I can say is that I've had mysterious reactions show up in 3's and rows (all typical of bed bugs) and not had bed bugs, sometimes random reactions show up in 3's....it happens
Oh brother, better not be bed bugs, that's the last thing she needs!
I'm all itchy now
That's why I use air mattresses, easy to clean, take out to air and wash as needed, light and comfortable. That mattress is old.
The worst insect to eradicate bar none , they are a nightmare

+Jeff White, I want to get a box spring encasement, but the legs of my bed are bolted into my box spring so it makes it much more difficult to encase. Are there any encasements out there that are designed for box springs with the legs of the bed bolted into them?
Protect-A-Bed makes a disc you can insert between the leg and encasement that will help address that issue
Just lift your mattress, or some will already be in your bedding or crawling up a wall
the first thing you want to do is look at your bed."
wow, great tip
OMG lifting my bed was so labor intensive! My friend just broke his neck because the bed was so heavy!
another easy solution for u sir, cover all the mattress and bed with plastic protector, job done! thanks
Do you think the bed bugs can get in the box springs if their still wrapped with the plastic they came with
My son keeps getting bites all over him , but I can't find one bug. No one else in the family is getting bitten apart from him. I am sure they are bed bugs because of the patterns they leave.
jack chan what did you find out? Did you have them?
Wow wow wow I’m literally in the same situation with my son and I’ve being looking everywhere cleaning everything taking him to the doctors today to find what’s been biting him
Me also. ARE you ready. I take my frame apart every week metal No box spring only encased mattress. Haven't seen any but they are ruining my life
Any update? Me my fiance and son keep getting ate up by something and I check all around my bed and mattress, the couches and under the cushions. And I don't see anything. I'm a nervous wreck. I cant find any fleas either. My fiance said it might be mites or chiggers.
Can be DUST MITES BITING TOO.
Thanks for sharing. Bed bugs get their name from their habit of feeding on humans while they sleep in their beds. They are found in virtually every place people tend to gather, including residences, hotels, schools, offices, retail stores and even public transportation.
