Green Akers Pest Control LLC Crossfires residual sucks..I sprayed the back of a headboard and checked 1 week later and found 2 live bed bugs on it..the residual doesn't work
Green Akers Pest Control LLC I was using cross fire aerosol can on the back of a headboard and did a pretreatment following week and 2 bed bugs were on the back of headboard..proves residual doesn't work.
I never use the Aerosol. I mix it myself with the concentrate. Aerosol is really only for areas you cannot treat with a gallon spray tank, like inside sofa box frames and in wall voids.
I'm surprised you didn't warn about sealing the vacuum and the hose separately after use. It is not recommended to use a vacuum with a filter. Bugs and especially eggs and excrement can get caught in the filter. Use a sealed cartridge vacuum cleaner, not one with a bag, even if it is disposable.
Thank you. A vacuum sales person had already suggested I do just that. Does it also make sense to place moth balls on top of or inside creases of sofas etc?
letsif not really because a sofa isn't closed off enough. Moth balls create a toxic vapor as they dissolve and this gas fills enclosed areas. Because a sofa is not enclosed enough it will just be a waste to use them there
Diatomaceous earth is good, it just works slowly. If you apply it, apply it lightly, because if you apply to much of it, the bed bugs will travel to the ceiling.
Thank you so much. Do you know around about how much that might cost? I would like for you to have my phone number so we can talk further about this. But I don't know how to send it to you privately
We had a case of bedbugs, we threw away every bed and replaced them(and we vacummed the shit outta them every day) Their activity ceased and we had like a bite every few days. A month later we called the Exterminators who used chemical weapons to kill them, rhey found nests of them behind wall stickers! They sprayed the house with an extra dose(exterminator knows my family) and them closed off the whole apartman for a few days. We're waiting to see the results now, we were out of town for a few days. Ofc beds were thrown away. I do fear that Bedbug eggs could of survived.
A problem is that the EU banned a specific stronger pesticide that had a 90%+ success rate in a 1 time destruction. This new one has like a 60% chance to kill them off in one go. The companies secretly kept some reserves of the stronger pesticide but duo to production gone they ran out sadly.
My son was always bringing junk from the garbage at our condo up here. I started getting what I thought was hives. It got so bad I thought I was really sick with nausea and big welts. I kept searching the bed and saw nothing. The doctor said it was some kind of allergic reaction.to something. Finally I saw a black bug on the couch. Then I started to inspect everything. I found them in the seams and was horrified. The beds were old and so was the couches so.out they went. The exterminator came twice and I have stopped getting sick. I have had a few bites and am prepared to get him back in a few weeks. It is lots of work putting everything in bags, washing, removing items with sleep. I will see how it goes Right now I am not see to much. Please people do not bring in things from the garbage. After being sick and spending thousands I am so sick of this.
Great advice here. I am going to pin this comment. I have had people tell me "Look what they were throwing away! Can you believe a perfectly good couch was on the corner?" and I explain that if it looks great, there is a reason it was thrown away. LEAVE IT ON THE CORNER! lol
Also be careful with alcohol sprays. We went in the room after spraying the bed with it and a slight light from a lighter made half the bed go up in a flame. Leave it to the exterminator. My nerves ate shot from these things.
We brought in a hard wood nightstand that was outside a neighbour left ( infested with bedbugs ) I live in Vancouver Canada ; but I grew up in Saskatchewan we never had bed bugs there probably they did not like the cold . Bbgs a nightmare now we have them and have to get rid of them
Try Crossfire. It is the safest pesticide with the longest residual, lasting over 30 days. It is very safe to use around family and I would just leave while it was drying (2-3 hrs) just be sure to follow the label. You want to buy the liquid as well NOT the aerosol
Green Akers Pest Control LLC what is crossfire? I've tried just about everything I can do without calling exterminator. Right now I'm spraying everything down with 91% alcohol and it seems to help some

Can I use crossfire in a regular spray bottle? I can't afford the pump spray bottle everyone recommends
Sophia Lopez I would try to get a pump. Hand spray bottles won’t work
@@GreenAkersPC were can i buy the pump spray bottle you recomend to put the crossfire to start killing this things
I was actually Force the four all my furniture away because it was so bad I've actually gotten them back 3 times with then a year
How are you reinfesting your home?
@@GreenAkersPC I actually live in apartment building that's and I really had didn't get any new furniture and they're still coming back my neighbors end up having it and they did not have their Apartments treated and I think that's how I'm directly getting them back
I have no bed bug droppings I have some dark spots on my pillows and i found just 1 bug that may look like a bed bug. There is no signs on my walls or dressers or bed. If it possible to have just 1 maybe it came from someone staying the night? Can I email you an picture of this bug? I kept it in a plastic bag and it finally died after about 8 days. I have no bites i was up around 2 am watching tv in my bed and felt it on my arm. Everything I read talks about infestations but I'm not seeing anything.
Also I am currently doing a heat treat myself. How long should I keep the temp at 125?
If you have twitter or facebook you can send me images there. Green Akers Pest Control LLC is my facebook and @greenakerspc is my handle for twitter
Please tell me where you get your spray from. It's probably expensive like what I'm using . 50 dollars a jug. Buy it promise to kill bugs and eggs. What do u think.
Is Bedlam Plus good?
Dexter Cumberbatch not really. MGK started making crossfire because of immunity to bedlam
@@GreenAkersPC Thanks for the reply. I live in NY so I'm not able to order crossfire from Amazon.
@@dextercumberbatch4334 it really depends on the retailer. A lot of people from NY have told me they could get it.
@@GreenAkersPC i just put in an order with one of the other retailers from Amazon. Hopefully it goes through. I ordered the crossfire 13oz concentrate.
@@GreenAkersPC Thank you for your time.
I live in Abingdon va and my mom started noticing bites at night. She got scared and ripped up carpet threw away bed and everything I have looked in day and night with flashlight and haven't seen anything. She doesn't have pets so don't think its fleas what should I do next? She lives in an apartment and doesn't have a lot of money to fix it
Stanley Aaron there are lots of things that can bite you in the bed OTHER than bed bugs..fleas, ants, spiders, mosquitoes or earwigs... these are all things I have found on others bedding
If she has bed bugs, check renters or tenant laws in VA. She may not have to pay for treatment, the landlord may be responsible.
I just subscribed to your Channel I've been listening to all your videos listening to all the things that you said to do and I just treated with the crossfire I did get rid of the beds I did get rid of the furniture I did tear the baseboards off I drove holes in the walls and sprayed it all in the walls we didn't really have that bad of infestation but I don't want the chances of them to return I know how it started so I'm going to treat once a month for three months around all the edges back in the holes again the bed frames I put covers on all the new beds I just subscribe to your channel I've been listening to all your videos listening to all the things that you said to do and I just treated with the crossfire I did get rid of the beds I did get rid of the furniture I did tear the baseboards off I drill holes in the walls and sprayed it all in the walls we didn't really have that bad of infestation but I don't want the chances of them to return I know how it started so I'm going to treat once a month for 3 months around all the edges back in the holes again the bed frames I put covers on all the new beds just trying to do everything I can do you suggest anything else that I should do
I normally suggest treatment of beds and not to use bed covers until after you know the bedbugs are all dead
A yr I'm throwing it out sorry sprayinging it and trash it go
I put my bed frame and headboard in the shed... Are they gonna spread there? Spread from there?
vadim nesen they shouldn't spread from the shed to the house but they can live for over a year without a blood meal
Green Akers Pest Control LLC thanks for reply. But my other worry is will they spread inside the shed? Would I need to treat the shed also? Or just the bed
vadim nesen I would treat the shed personally
of course
do bedbugs get into ceiling fans
It’s rare but I have seen this happen before
Sorry but EPA says no bed bug will be without feed having a the dinner closed to them.
we have bed bugs
treat three time now they come back again
any suggest
Zahida Perveen Crossfire works well just be sure to treat once a month at least 3 months in a row for best results
Green Akers Pest Control LLC
Crossfires residual sucks..I sprayed the back of a headboard and checked 1 week later and found 2 live bed bugs on it..the residual doesn't work
RAY ROD sorry about your luck. I've had really good results with Crossfire...you are the first that has complained. Are you sure you followed label
I don't really think using a vacuum is good for any bugs unless it's a shop vac then maybe it can work
A shop vac is what I was thinking of because it can be cleaned without having to use a bag. Bags are inappropriate, especially if reused.
letsif you can place a moth ball in the vacuum and it will kill any live bugs sucked up as well
Thank you. A vacuum sales person had already suggested I do just that. Does it also make sense to place moth balls on top of or inside creases of sofas etc?
letsif not really because a sofa isn't closed off enough. Moth balls create a toxic vapor as they dissolve and this gas fills enclosed areas. Because a sofa is not enclosed enough it will just be a waste to use them there
Do you recommend people using diatomaceous earth to treat bed bugs?
Diatomaceous earth is good, it just works slowly. If you apply it, apply it lightly, because if you apply to much of it, the bed bugs will travel to the ceiling.
There is nothing wrong in using DE for bed bugs but with Crossfire I don't use it much anymore
Ano Ali can you use the DE and heat?
Can you have bed bugs and not have bites?
Parks Family this is an amazing question. You CAN have bedbugs and no bites. I have seen it a lot
Well my cats took care of getting rid of the underside of my box spring for me 😂
Thank you so much. Do you know around about how much that might cost? I would like for you to have my phone number so we can talk further about this. But I don't know how to send it to you privately
Tonya Miller my website is www.greenakerspc.com my number is listed there.
God I hate bed bugs
I think this is a common prayer these days lol
Yes can I use on matters n box spring
We had a case of bedbugs, we threw away every bed and replaced them(and we vacummed the shit outta them every day)
Their activity ceased and we had like a bite every few days.
Dank God -Carlo- Zamasu good luck
I have these horrid creatures in my house an exterminator came out, so how are they still alive😕😕
It can take a while to kill bedbugs what pesticide did he use?
Why can't it be shipped to NY?
Leslie Barrueta because they expect you to hire someone in NY
This is making palmettos and roaches look wimpy lol I think they may live through a nuclear bomb at this point!
I will see how it goes
Right now I am not see to much.
A woman in Ohio and a man just last month nearly burned down their homes using alcohol!
Too
How to kill bedbugs........... burn the house down with gasoline!! Evil creatures!!! But for real if anybody knows what works, let me know please!
Stephen Roberts crossfire is very affective on bed bugs
Green Akers Pest Control LLC what is crossfire? I've tried just about everything I can do without calling exterminator. Right now I'm spraying everything down with 91% alcohol and it seems to help some

Try diatomaceous food grade. Earth. Power it is white. It works. There is different types. You can get the stuff at. Just about anywhere but it has to have bed bugs name on it
Are you going to actually tell us how in this video or am I gonna have to click and another video to get the answer? I don't doubt somebody's going to replied me and say watch the video and find out what obviously societee has no common sense and I don't wanna waste another 10 minutes after wasting 20 minutes already.
With all these comments on my videos criticizing me and if you would just WATCH the whole video...I TELL YOU! Don't watch if you don't like them. I'm sure someone else will tell you what works... WAIT A MINUTE! NO ONE DOES! Except me. I know this because I've looked. I use Crossfire to eliminate bedbugs. Now please stop leaving comments on my videos unless you have something decent to say...
Then don’t watch. Get your information elsewhere.
I for one, and super grateful for it.
I wouldn't want to keep a nasty mattress like that they leave poop and blood nasty
