As a Key Worker as a Civil Servant the GBHC was my stopping time. My colleagues would regularly hear me say - need to have that meeting before 5:30 pm as I have the Home Chorus then. Learnt so much during the GBHC sessions and so love this video (wish I'd thought of it)
June Shearing it’s been so vital hasn’t it? I’ve felt guilty, because I’m a nursery nurse, so a key worker, but I’m also severely asthmatic so vulnerable and have been having to shield. GBHC often cheered me up when I was feeling a bit useless!!
@@MrsManics you're so right. For me it was the break and just seeing people from my home town (who I didn't know) and across the world was lovely too. I just loved how much it brought us all together. Hope we can all get together sometime in the future in the flesh.

Great way to say thank you. The singing every night kept me sane in a mad world. I always did all the lovely warm ups and Gareth seemed to know instinctively when I got stuck with a particular section. This is a really lovely video. 🥳

Really enjoyed your song & totally reiterate your thanks to Gareth, I'm not shielding but am alone so the gbhc has been a lifeline, missing friends in our Gilbert and Sullivan society, had to stop rehearsals for our Golden Jubilee performance of HMS Pinafore. Was due in April, now hopefully next year???
