SEASON 9 Of Big Bear Weather and More has begun. Our ninth year of never missing a single storm. We began in Fall of 2015. This is a apssion of mine as you can see. I enjoy my interactions with all of you, and it really warms my heart the friendships I've developed over the years on this channel. I will continue to do my very best to bring you the most up-to-date weather information through video. I record pre-storm during the storm, and after the storm to truly give you the best information I possibly can. My goal has been to keep you guys safe and make you smile with my banter and humor. Deborah, I hope you get a chance to move back sooner than later. It really is a nice place every time I go back down the mountain either to visit a few family members or friends. I’m always looking forward to coming back up here that makes me realize I am very lucky.

How’s it going Joshua? Yeah it’s not easy at all to find a place to live especially because since I’ve lived here, the rent has almost tripled everywhere now the prices are what I thought they would be when I first moved here I thought moving to a tourist town with ski resorts would be ridiculously expensive, but when I got here to look around, it was so cheap I couldn’t believe it and now it’s priced out of most peoples ability to pay And there’s nothing really that great on the market unless you want to spend $4000 per month I don’t know how my wife would feel about this but if we could find someone who we really trust and get a nice place I’m sure we could come up with half of that Because I live in a shoebox right now but I’m really happy because we pay hardly anything as I’m knocking on wood right now my little area hasn’t had any rent upticks at all. Been lucky as heck.

This winter time I really hope you’re interested in doing a video with me driving around town I promise you I know you have a family. I know you are precious cargo I would never do anything too crazy to risk our safety, even though technically driving in the snow there’s always a chance for something to go wrong .
But I would love for you to join me because I have a feeling the people on this channel would really enjoy having and getting to meet my friends I think that’s something I’m gonna try to integrate a lot more. This next winter is bringing someone as often as I can for the ride.

Hey Mike. That makes me happy man. I’m glad you guys came up here and had a good time. I’m always excited for the potential to get to meet a lot of you guys a few people during these videos, and in between the two videos reached out the people who saw me walking around and it was really cool because one of them is someone who leaves comments all the time and it’s just so incredible to get to meet you guys, I look at you guys like a celebrity. I always get so nervous.

No freaking way Tom. I wish I would’ve known that you were behind that event because I would’ve loved to of done a short interview with you because I was really impressed. It was super awesome and the people seemed so loyal to the Volkswagen and I just loved being there. I wish I had more time to hang out I really do.
And that is so cool the one Volkswagen that really impressed me beyond being impressed was a 17 year olds Volkswagen what a lucky kid or maybe I should say a Lucky young man I’m grateful that I had a car when I was 17 but it was a Toyota Corolla. Lol I’m definitely not winning any competitions with that car. Lololol.

@@shilomifsud9836 you’re not gonna believe who I got to hang out with yesterday he’s a TH-cam fan of this channel. Basically his family is Hollywood royalty and he invited me over to his house. It was so cool. I’ll talk to you about it sometime soon. He’s such the nicest guy ever but he has pictures call you when you walk into his house of people like Adam Sandler, David Spade, the Farrelly brothers and others hanging out on his couch and Jacuzzi enjoying themselves. This was just incredible. I did not expect it but literally this family is Hollywood royalty. It blows my mind that he’s actually a huge fan of this channel when he’s the one who’s really Famous.
Especially his father, his father did all the music for top gun and the wedding Singer, and many many many other movies, as well as his father, was the manager for that band journey
My friend I went to his vacation home yesterday right on the lake and his name is Bryan Dilbeck. He’s been in movies like dumb and dumber to and a lot of other little rolls in other movies. I am just so proud that I got to meet him and that he thinks the world of me.
Look up his father, Michael Dilbeck. God rest his soul he’s no longer with us, but look up his father’s name it’s just shocking how all of these super famous people think so highly of my new friend and his family and they talk on the phone a lot spend time together it’s just so beautiful. Andrea, I’m gonna make my best effort to do that. I think that would be cool. I feel really bad because we had a few other events in town today but I missed them. Hahahaha. I should have for sure I’m telling you that day is going to come I’m gonna get back into my 1999 mindset rocking my Rocawear or something good. We’ve talked about this before but I used to have about eight beautiful velour outfits the nicest ones that SeanJohn, or any of these companies sold. I do miss it they were so comfortable. I’ve told you my biggest issue today is because my house is so small and we have so many pets everywhere you sit down you’re going to get hair all over you no matter how much we try to clean it and that’s why I don’t wear nice clothes anymore because I don’t wanna get hair all over them and constantly have to use lint remover’s and I mean it takes 10 minutes just to get the lint off and the hair.

So that’s a good question first of all let me welcome you to town first of all and then secondly I don’t know if the yoga deal is going on up here still I know that today was the last day at least what I was told don’t quote me on it but the trout fishing competition and maybe that car show is still going on as well but honestly I have no idea how long it’s supposed to last. I wish I had a much better answer for you bro.
When you get to town I’m sure you’re going to stop in the village no matter what, so you’ll be able to definitely see somethings going on but yeah bro I’m pretty sure most of these events are still happening today. So I posted in the community part of the channel a bunch of things that are going on this weekend, some of them have to do with bike races and E bikes and obviously this Volkswagen show and there is some sort of a yoga experience in town. There’s a Oktoberfest there’s also something in the village regarding drinking alcohol. Hopefully that doesn’t have any issues.
But yeah bro, please don’t be upset with me. I don’t know when these things are supposed to end as I’m responding to you because it’s a three day weekend they all could still be going on today as I said, I know for sure the fishing competition was going on today, but I don’t know if they’ve already completed that now.

So I had a link of all the events that a friend of mine sent me, but it’s not too specific I just looked at it, so honestly man I’m not 100% sure exactly what is still happening up here and I hope that doesn’t frustrate you I am so sorry. But as I said, I think everything I recorded yesterday and the other events are probably still happening because it is a three day weekend I’m assuming they’ll all be done after today because tomorrow is the last day of the holiday but I don’t know how many people are going to be staying until Tuesday.
So Ben again I apologize man. I wish I had some more in-depth information for you. Clearly that something I need to improve on what I’m gonna try to learn for these videos I do in the future is how long the event lasts just saw when I’m recording, I can tell you guys try to get here before a certain time before it ends.

Kevin, I never realized it bro because most years my channel only consisted of recording the weather and some lodging but because a lot of people have wanted me to do some more things I thought you know what for you guys I would love to do it and it’s not like it’s boring for me. I really enjoy doing these other videos but I never realized it how crazy it is up here in October.
Unfortunately, I know Oktoberfest isn’t just about alcohol, but I have to be honest because I hated myself when I was in the midst of my alcoholism. I’m probably not gonna do any videos for Oktoberfest. I can’t stand being around drunk people and again it’s only because I hated who I was when I was drunk.

They post too like parking tickets going from 200 to 500. Hey Julie, that’s a great idea and funny that you mention that because yesterday in the second video that I posted someone who was working in the E bike area was telling me that I should definitely be focusing on the Grizzley newspaper because it’ll tell me about every event going on in town so I’m definitely gonna get that figured out for sure and regarding the parking situation I’m gonna have to look into that thankfully so far where I’ve needed to park when Town is busy I know people who run the business is where I’m parking so they let me park there without any issue, but I feel really weird asking people if I can use one of their parking spots taking away a parking spot from the business. It just feels really selfish so I’m gonna definitely look into the parking Passes.

OK that makes more sense so that makes me happier that I have friends who work all over town so if I need to park anywhere I can always find a place to park which is pretty cool. It really does help what I wanna do videos like this. I was able to park at Chevron this time but I would never over welcome my stay. I was there only about 30 minutes.

Hey Cherl on my end it’s working just fine. I went through the videos just to see what you were talking about and I didn’t find any issues but that doesn’t mean that other people won’t have those issues. The audio is just fine on my end it was like I was speaking into a very clear microphone. I was surprised how good it sounded so let me know if there’s any specific areas in the video where you’re finding it hard to hear because I said it’s perfectly fine on my End.
