- DKP Cruise Night back to the pre-VW Classic! Amazing turnout more than 200 VWss gathered at DKP Cruise Night at Historic Main Street Garden Grove, California. They blocked the whole block of the Historic Main street filled Volkswagen! There was live music too. What a great evening gathering everyone had a great time!
Awesome! Lots of rides and they all beautiful! Takes a lot of time and volunteers to set up the event 🔥
Someone must have gotten a group deal on dual carbs and linkages
Great location for a Bug Show and shine! We have ours coming up in Richmond sometime in September so, not quite the same cool but it'll be RAD. Glad I found you guyz on here!@

We will be meeting in at 4pm on Sunday, December 3rd at Wahoo’s Fish Taco, 23042 Eastpark Dr. Yorba Linda, and leaving for the tour of lights at 5pm SHARP!!!
Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate at the end of the route, back at Wahoo’s.
A commemorative plaque will be given for PARTICIPANTS , while they last ( one plaque per car, please ).
DKP will be giving a First, Second and Third place award for the Club’s favorite decorated VW after the toy collection, for families in need, in cooperation with the wonderful Officers and Staff of the Fullerton Police Department.
Bring your VWs, friends and families for a generous evening of charity.

"We'll park you later" That's okay... I can park myself. Kinda sad and funny at the same time how the little car that used to be the perfect project for the working man and his son have become such tightly held trinkets for the well to do. I was priced out nearly two decades ago when I needed a rearview mirror for an oval vert and the man that had one wanted $2500 for it wearing a straight face. That's when I knew the game had changed. IMO, the Samba ruined everything. Swap meets used to be where it was at, even those are ridiculous now.

My very first bug was a 69,, had a slammed 64 BRMs since 1990 but sold it to pay pricy vet bill now restoring a 67 bug all the way up..
