I actually purchased this same set back in august! I personally experienced some issued with the brush nib fraying slightly the more I used them. nothing major, but definitely not something I enjoy seeing when using markers. however, I heard from croma on instagram that they've changed the material of their croma lite brush nibs! and they also have a new line of markers called the croma flagship markers and they're supposed to be far superior to croma lite markers! I plan to get a small set and try them out! would love to see a review on them!
I noticed that as well later on into the piece with the colors I used the most. The nibs did seem to almost wear down. I'll have to check out the other set. I'm definitely curious to see how the nibs on those compare.
@@ShorterThantheEasel awesome! I'm definitely tempted to give them a try! I've also heard that the nibs are removable so you can refill them with copic ink if you'd like! Personally I'd prefer it if they'd come out with their own refills because I don't have the patience to match copic inks to the croma markers 😂
I don't plan on getting more Croma markers because of the price. But after looking up the markers, aside from the barrel shape it looks like the flagship markers have more colors in their full set. The lite has 216 and the flagship has 240. I don't really know if the quality is any different. But the main thing they seem to promote with the flagship from what I've seen is that the barrel has an ergonomic shape. Aside from that the packaging is also different. The flagship has a different case.
They're alcohol based markers, so they do have the usual smell most markers like these do. I'd say they're about the same as any other alcohol marker smell wise.
