I can remember my second grade school back in 1986 had just installed a new fire alarm system. It was either Wheelock or Simplex. Of course, my memory as a 6 year old wasn't too great. Anyway, the system would do 3 beats at a time when it sounded. It would do 3 beats, wait a second, and then 3 more beats in that order. I still wonder to this day what that kind of code meant.
***** I have wheelock AS' and spectralert advance in my house I am planning of making a system test of it. and what happened to the old version of the 8005 (From 2007 and 2008
Dude, start over. I have no idea what happened. I'll start: You asked who was getting it next. I joked that it was me and then said he'd prolly keep it. You had already PM'd him saying?
That system is pretty cool. Glad to see my old pull station is good hands.
That's ingenious! I don't even think Simplex ever made a code repeater.
That 1960's pullstation looks Identical to the ones that my elementary school used to have.
Congrats on the 200th video! I love the coded/non-coded system. Very cool.
Very nice system. There are like no more coded systems in the US. Awesome 200th video! :)
Man that is awesome
Any idea on how I can get ANY light plate? Oh, and also will you do a vid on how to wire a coded pull station to an AC current horn?
That is epic! That program you made is amazing!
I am getting a 4030 too FINALLY
That is SO cool!
Would you use the coded pull in buildings, like someone pulles an alarm, manager counts the pulses or looks at panel, goes to call point.
you talked about a coded pull system it would be useful because each type of code could represent each zone
Happy New Year. Will you do a walk test for System test 29? Can you code it to continuous?
Congratulations on 200 videos!
Awesome video!!!!!!!
AWESOME VID!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE THE INTRO!
Instead of the sisterhood of the traveling pants, its the brotherhood of the traveling pullstation!
I swear the wheel in that thing sounded like a motorcycle I thought it was a motorcycle there for a minute
You still have the 3040 on?!?!?
Most likely not.
Wow!
Cool. Congratulations on 200 videos!

What Program Did You Use?

Really cool system. I think it is interesting that you wrote a computer program to monitor the electric pulse to your fire alarm system.
