My kind of Canadian. Not only a great tribute to George H. W. Bush but a great tribute to his neighbor to his south complimenting the USA as the greatest democratic republic in history.

Another fine eulogy given by Brian Mulroney. I remember his fine tribute he made at Ronald Reagan's State Funeral back in 2004.
Indeed. I forget the word, I'm not a French speaker, the word he used was a vividly defined word that in essence meant he [Reagan] exhibit a natural sense of leadership that meant he was presidential. Unforgettable. The Reagan eulogy-maybe the best I've ever heard

He was born and raised in a town in eastern Quebec where 98% of the population of the region speaks French as a first language. So he speaks both French and English fluently with his great voice.
Never gave him my vote, was young and followed the misguided left. But I always liked and respected P.M. Mulroney. Very touching!

I've watched and listened to this tribute ( and those of Alan Simpson) so many times I can't count. It is a brilliant tribute to his friend and colleague, President George Bush. Eloquence beyond eloquence. President Bush choose wisely in those he asked to speak at this event.

I still remember Prime Minister Trudeau’s eulogy for President Reagan, and this euglogy for President George H.W. Bush was just as eloquent. Thank you, Sir.
No, it was also PM Mulroney speaking at Reagan's funeral. Trudeau would have been dead a good 10 years at the time of Reagan's passing.

Just incredible to find such ignorant comments about Trump, who annihilated most of ISIS in almost a year, who gave the best economy in over 50 yrs. Now the US has the lowest unemployment rate ever for blacks and Hispanics while the borders are being defended. The only president who had a meeting with a North Korean leader that managed to get all the war dead back as well as throwing a dent into their missile program. A president who also gave war vets access to medical care and during all this doesn't take a pay check and all this accomplished in just over 2 yrs. Also as well the only president who is getting manufacturing back to the US and yet after all this, you still hear stupid hateful comments towards the best president ever. boomer21 no he didn’t give the best economy. Economic doesn’t work like that, and we ought to learn about it in high school for those who don’t make it to grad school. We’re living the effects of Obama’s economic policies. If no economic depression, it takes about 2 years to feel the repercussions of economic policies. You will start feeling Trump’s economic choices very soon; then you can make an assessment of his work.
