Ok I know a lot of people are complaining that this isn’t classic Disney, and I get why they might not like it, but with the fact that they used Aristocats, Aladdin, Jungle Book, Coco AND Haunted Mansion, and with how catchy the music is, I just can’t hate it🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

Something I really enjoyed about this when we saw it was, even though the fireworks were cancelled due to wind, they still went on with the show and the fireworks weren’t missed and no one went home disappointed.
It's shows like this that make me believe that Disneyland will always be the favorite amongst Imagineers (have quite a few Imagineer friends). They love doing experimental stuff like this at Disneyland. Sometimes it's a flop. But this one works! It's so classic and modern all at the same time. I thought I'd hate it myself but surprisingly, this is AMAZING!
While I personally think this show is a piece of trash, I think you're right. You can tell the Imagineers did their best with this one and had a blast doing it.
Yes, they don’t like to experiment at Magic Kingdom, because it‘s a Park where people from all over the World come, maybe just once in their life, so they want them to get the classic Disney experience with Fairy Tales and Cheesy Princess songs
Forgive me for being 2 years late but I wanna make my input on this. A lot of folks don't like this show and I personally didn't care for it at first but then I realized something. This is good for a reason most people don't even think about. This shows that Disney is still willing to experiment and see what works and what doesn't. Disneyland is like a huge ground for that.
People really hurt at the modern versions of music and updated feel. Although it’s true it may be more of a DCA thing or even grad nite but cmon this isn’t bad at all. It’s an amazing blend of older generation Disney with modern music and you shouldn’t get upset that Disney is keeping up with today’s times lmao. Obviously kids are gonna love seeing fireworks , Mickey Mouse and high energy dancing music. Relax dude. Just cuz it doesn’t feel “classic” to you it will feel classic to the newer generation . Also notice the use of electro swing in a majority of the show. That itself already gives a nostalgic feel to it

It's not that I HATE this show, I just hate the fireworks design cause compared to Remember Dreams Come True, this show basically ruined the night fireworks for me.. Until they bring back the old Remember Dreams Come True show, I'll always complain about the horrible design of this show.. It's just not as spectacular as other shows since there are parts with absolutely NO fireworks, and there are no mines and comets up close to the audience, and that's what I love about Disney is the up close and personal fireworks with the major shells firing in sync. When there's blackness in the sky for at least 15 seconds during a Disney show, I just want to go ask the fireworks designers; "What the heck are you doing? Wasting everyone's time?"

My girlfriend and I saw this last year on accident. When we got off the train in Main Street we were told the fireworks show had been cancelled. So we watched from the train station and danced with cast members. Such a fun and awesome memory!
Honestly, I'm more surprised that The Aristocats have lately made a resurgence into the parks as of this decade. First was Marie making smaller appearance within certain parks like seasonal parades, recently appeared in Tokyo's version of it's a small world as one of many Disney cameos, they had their own parade float exclusively to Tokyo Disneyland with Happiness is Here (though got later replaced with a new parade, Dreaming Up! for it's 35th anniversary), and now with this show being a first for this film to appear in a Fireworks/Projection show.
Here's hoping the rest of the underrated Disney animated movies from the 70s (robin hood & the rescuers) start making appearances. I don't think any have made appearances in fireworks and light shows and I know Disneyland and magic kingdom retired the robin hood mascots at the parks about a decade ago and I think the rescuers even longer

Is this a classic Disneyland firework show that touches you emotionally? Absolutely not. However for what they wanted to accomplish with this firework show, I think they did a VERY good job. Every time they do a new show like this, they get better with the spotlights, projections, and lasers. I also really like how Mickey would pop up in the different remixed songs.
The pyrotechnic design needs a shit ton of work though, since this is not as spectacular as Remember Dreams Come True or any of the other Disney shows. The parts where there are NO fireworks for at least 15 seconds with music running make me wonder if they just want to waste everyone's time. Personally, in my opinion, the close-up comets and mines, and cakes, etc up close to the audience makes the entire display more spectacular, but there is none of that in this show. This show either needs to be stopped, or revised to the point where it has to be redone completely. I'd rather it be shutdown completely since I'm really disappointed in Disney for this
I was waiting for the fireworks but it was cancelled and this show was played instead and oh my god, it was awesome!!! My cheeks were hurting from smiling to much :') My first experience at Disneyland in this month was excellent, I almost cried because of how beautiful it was.
This is an impeccably executed modern day Disney show. SO MUCH FUN and the soundtrack is so well done! One of the best things? Being able to view in one of 3 locations: Main Street, Small World, and Rivers of America - all offer vastly different experiences. I think it’s fantastic they are learning about offering greater accessibility across the park to enable more people to view instead of forcing you into the the mobs for Fantasmic or the concentrated crowd on Main Street for the seasonal shows/fireworks.
I'm not gonna lie 2020 sucked. I hadn't been to disney in so long. so when I got to go a couple weeks ago I cried I was so happy that I was amongst my people and everyone was so happy. It was amazing I hope I get to go for Christmas too this year

I watch other Disney shows on youtube, Mickey's Mix Magic is just a horrible show in terms of the pyrotechnic design. Everything else is okay, but the fireworks design needs serious work.

However, I will forever have an emotional attachment to this show, because this is the one we got to watch from our hotel when my daughter turned 3 and we went on our first ever Disneyland trip. I'll always remember how she reacted when that Mickey Firework went up, and how excited she was to run into her grandparents room and tell my now passed father in law all about the fireworks. So, yeah, it's an odd show, a bit of a rave feel, but for me, it's definitely an emotional experience I will always cherish.
Only Disneyland memories can take me back to the Parade of the Stars at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California back in five years from 2000 to 2005 during the forty-fifth anniversary to join the cast members, the Disneyland performers and the Disney characters in the Parade of the Stars at 4 and 8 P.M. for five years only at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California again and again and again only back in time.
I absolutely love this show. I would of never expected Disney to take an edm theme route for a firework show but it’s just so fun. The electro swing is so catchy and really makes you want to dance. My fav is the aristocrats, it truly captures that electro feel roaring 20s party vibes. Definitely my fav firework show by far
To be honest, I feel this is probably the only show since Disneyland Forever that took advantage of all the new tech they installed in the park for nighttime spectaculars.
Douglas Roth Late reply but, I got to see it twice already. Due to high winds the time I was there they use Mix Magic as an alternative for the main firework show. ( and i saw it twice without fireworks :/) still amazing.
I saw it recently and it was my first ever fire works show, however it was okay, but I don't think it's fit my groove and the music is fine, but I kind off want to see the original fireworks.

Funny to see that Disneyland is actually throwing raves now. I remember going to "raver days" and having a blast.
One of the best fireworks party I've been. Disneyland did a good job even just to temporarily get away from the generic fireworks.
