this whole album is so cohesive, so subtly powerful in its own way , while still symbolizing a story between two lovers . romeo and juliet but modernly . halsey is just an artist and all her work never disappointed .

The reason 100 letters is the first song after the prologue is because in Romeo and Juliet they tell you from the beginning this is a tragedy and they don’t end up together and in 100 letters Halsey is saying “i don’t let him touch me anymore” telling us that this relationship is a tragedy and not a happy ending. She said this in an interview too❤️
