Was wondering if you can show how to trigger a vba code once you outputted a file the online resources weren't very useful
Just getting back to Alteryx after a 2 year hiatus. Trying to read multiple csv files and then move them all into another folder and/or archive. Leaving the existing original location empty for future file drops. I have downloaded 7 zip .. but missing an element for multiple files
Hi Nathan. I am struggling to use Macros embedded in excel files inside Alteryx. I have some macros enabled excel files and instead running the macros on excel I want to run them on excel. Can you please guide me how to it??

Alteryx could make a prompt-driven tool to do the same but with low-code, no-code methods. This will save Alteryxians time & effort during our daily work. Unless email's going out of style in the next year or so.
I totally agree, Shandor! I love the term "Alteryxians." I think I'll borrow that term. Yes, there are a few common task that could be built into a few more simple tools, and this is one of them.

As with so many Alteryx tool, this becomes useless when working with a Server setup for automation, because you would then have to upload the .bat file to the server for this to work.
Is there no way to execute command-line statements INSIDE the Alteryx flow?
That's correct. For a server/gallery workflow, the .bat would need to be located on the server where the workflow is being run. Also, remember to use UNC paths for server workflows.
When you copy the template excel file we can use this batch file. Especially for the pivot table, it helps a lot. The format will not change. Do you have any other option for pivot+ format in the template?
