They can just take the same design as their wasteland Gladius but with a 24 inch blade and that would be a sweet addition!!

Some upgrade ideas I had for the Executioner 3.0 would be to add Fuller in the center of the blade to help lighten it, add a few cuts just before the handguard to help blood drip off like on a kukri, and if it's not already tapering the blade will help lighten and balance it. For the handle maybe using a composite would be good to help prevent wood from cracking and if it's a threat on Palm will make it easy to tighten in case of the handle coming loose during hard use.

Flexible weapons? What's some good improvised ones? I made one with paracord, a strong key ring, and large castle nuts and a "blade" from a line cutter. Seems like an effective weapon to me. What else would be effective to tie to a rope or cable to use as a swung impact weapon?

Ok pitch: it seems like the new heads are harder and tougher than the Ivan heads. So let’s get all the old overkill weapons (or however many we still have) and see if they still stack up.
I hope you guys can still make this on a regular basis, maybe twice per month? I don't about others, but I would chip in. Now about the sword. I own and review plenty of swords. If this design ever comes to fruition, I would buy it and I would review it. Some initial observation on the prototype design: the belly or the leaf shape of the profile is a little bit too pronounced for a long blade, it would add too much weight and throw the balance off. It would be nice to keep the curvature a bit more subtle. Some distal taper would also help prevent the sword from handling like an axe with that irregular weight distribution. You really need the portion near the tip to carry less mass than the portion near the guard. The pommel looks good, if you manage to cast it to be a bit more like a scentstopper (while still being somewhat pointy), it would be even better. Keep the grip from being cylindrical. Oval cross section is nice, if you can have a bit of a flat section on both sides of the grip, it would be even better. You mentioned reducing the thickness of the guard--good decision!
On the executioner 3.0 for the handguard you can make it to have a forward curvature (slight curve) in order to make the guard be able to parry other blades. For the handle materials you can use spring steel (it is a strong and flexible metal at the same time and is grey in color which might give the sword a more post apocalyptic look and character 🤔).
Ok, I have to admit that the new sword looks epic. It’s probably the most badass design I’ve seen so far, let alone from ZGB. It would make an excellent movie prop.
