Mr Lynov, you will need to send missionaries to the USA to help us. We are so backwards over here that it would be ILLEGAL to build such a home almost everywhere here in the United States. I would have to leave St. Louis, Missouri and travel 1000 miles west INTO THE DESERT in order to find a place where our zoning laws would allow such a structure. Our government is a tyranny and we are not as free as people think.
Not every state is the same, do some extensive homework. through all these alternative forms of living, I found that in the state of Maryland, you could go tiny and that you can build out of shipping containers. I think IF you really want to go this route, find what states let you build earth ships... I think I have to give it to the Gov this time though. I'm from Venezuela (a country in South America, separate from Mexico) and in my country though many building codes in place, no one gives two shits about it and build out any material and in any type of land they can. The end result often times is those homes being washed away, hundreds and even thousands of "homes" washed away, and their residents, if not killed, go back to homelessness, or living with relatives while they find somewhere else to go. I don't think an earth ship could work for the long run in a place where you have all 4 stations. Even if the base is made out of tires, it only takes 60 years to degrade, it does take less time when exposed to different types of seasons (and probably even less through manipulation.) 60 years is nothing but the equivalent of the duration of two financing terms. So in my mind, it is definitely better to find the right place for these types of homes where they are the least bothered by mother nature.
@@JeenieJolie I live in the northeast so I get lots of weather and that's probably why they are so restrictive in my state. When I lived in Arkansas you could build a house of cards and live in it, they didn't care at all lol.
@@chaznonya4 it could also be the type of land, if you live flood-prone places, your home cannot weight more than x amount (so no second floors allowed) and the material has to be able to sustain that. I would think that Arkansas being a humid place would work for those demi underground Earthships. the land could bare some beautiful flowers (not sure lol I haven't plant as much as a bean sprout since I was a pre-teen lol.)

I have worked in all the trades, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, I even set up modular homes, I always wanted to build my own house, I have a offgrid house now, but building one would be Nice!! Maybe something like a 1600 sqft dome, with 2 levels, and a garage and work shop, 300sqft garage, and 150sqft shop, that with about 1600sqft dome home, should be plenty for a couple !! I have a well, but I think I will start harvesting rain water, dig a storage tank, with a sand and carbon filter, with a disposable carbon filter in the plumbing, we don't have much of a drout here, lately it's been too much water!
I've researched most all of this for years. I am almost finished and it has been a long laborious time. I hope more people will come aboard of this way of building and living. A community of this type of home will NOT be so devastated by fires as so many have been in recent years. I wish this video was available years back. Wulf Claw You are so right on any style of these homes, whether in the foamcrete or the earthbag or even the earthship, as being all depending on how one builds and creates window the homes can be almost fireproof, wooden window frames could catch and then possibly anything wooden and paper inside would catch but the main structure would still be standing regardless of a fire, they can withstand any earthquake providing the ground doesn't open up beneath them or doesn't buck up the ground underneath either theowing or rolling the house, but those would be some serious quakes which are potentially possible but the point being is they would survive most where as most homes would not! They will survive tornadoes, hurricanes, cyclones, tsunami, etc., meaning when disaster strikes, a home that costs a person a mere fraction of traditional building styles would definitely outlast traditional style homes! Look for fights at most levels to being able to build and by one's self because once people start pushing back and realizing no matter how they build if they just do it themselves it saves so much money and allows for a person to become debt free much more quickly than any traditional method and will take the banks and loan/finance companies out of buisiness!! Because of this at some point there may be harsh push back against us just as there has been against anything that potentially prevents money from flowing into their greedy pockets!!! We must pray against these people and entities that they be blinded to the good deed and doings of those who only intend well being and love of one another!!! And we must command in spiritual warfare against these people and beings, that they be bound, at all extremities, gagged/muted, blind folded/blinded, deafened/ears plugged to any hearing, all senses be bound, covered and/or plugged, and their entire heads & bodies be encased in a compound that prevents, stops, negates any waves, electrical pulses and/or energies of mind and spirit of super natural and any other existences from coming to them or from them, so as they may never influence, deceive, instigate, suggest, coerce, or the like anyone ever again so long as they shall exist anywhere!!!
What a great thing you are doing. I would love to join in the fun but not in the position to invest and lose $25,000 on mistakes as you have. But that's not why I'm writing. I feel you have a great concept and lots of great footage of what you are doing, but you need to hire an editor to make your video pieces have more meaning by organizing it in a more fluid video. There are so many cuts and jumps in the video and your dialogue is all over the place. As you have asked for people to invest in learning what you have done, you also have to invest in someone who can make what you have done into a more professional video...

I have an idea. The way the blocks are made, if there is a way to simulate the Harding to block process. At least enough to “toast” to where it’s stiff enough to make a long column stand up with out support and not collapse and finish the rest of the drying process on its own... if you can do something like that... Visualize a perfect half ball, dome, one foot thick, now visualize a metal plate few feet long probably, likely not more that a foot tall and you set it on the floor on the inside against the dome and it perfect forms shape with the dome, and then one on the outside to compliment it. Now hold them perfectly still in place and make the dome disappear, now connect the top edge of both pieces of metal together with another piece on top. Now connect that on the pole u use to line up the structure of the dome, but it’s connected two poles one directly below the other to form a triangle, if you do the math correct, as you raise the unit, it moves along to continue the foot thick circle shape... if you can grasp what I mean... this will only work if it is a PERFECT half sphere dome, couldn’t make it any other angle... What’s on the other sides of the metal (not where the Air Crete is) is what will pre process “toast” the mixture. Block up one end or both if you can fill it from the top, pre-process that then unblock the ends and start rotating it along the ground slowly enough so where you fill in the direction you’re traveling it’s strong enough to not blob down , now you have a bottom ring of the dome, raise the unit up half it’s height or similar and continue the process... it would be like 3D Printing in Vase Mode... but you want these half’s where they are not linked to each other but the poles instead, so once you make it to the top and you have a hole that you cannot fully completely fill in, get on a ladder and detach the inside part and bring it down, and if the hole is big enough to stand through, be on the ladder and detach the outside layer and bring it through, actually you would wanna take all parts outside so u can make more while if finished hardening. Have some kind of scaffolding or something you can climb on to get out of the dome. Once fully hard make a block to cap off the hole and cut you windows and doors. Or put down wood slats as you go to take place of foam there you want holes and then push them through

I believe this guy has something great to offer but 2 things - 1) if his sole reason for sharing this is to create eco-villages and de-urbanize more people into self-sustainable living environments, he needs to put the videos in individual lessons on TH-cam and collect ad revenue/create a Patreon account instead of charging. 2) somebody help this guy market. tires are optional he is showing multiple building methods, only one of them involves tires, . plus once the tires have been adobe over... adobe contains alot of clay and will keep the smell in. plus... its old used tires, those have already off gassed and don't really smell anymore. just watch some earthship videos and it will explain that better then i can.

I believe this guy has something great to offer but 2 things -
1) if his sole reason for sharing this is to create eco-villages and de-urbanize more people into self-sustainable living environments, he needs to put the videos in individual lessons on TH-cam and collect ad revenue/create a Patreon account instead of charging.
2) somebody help this guy market. Or better yet, hire someone who can. This is barely watcheable and outright laughable in some parts

tires are optional he is showing multiple building methods, only one of them involves tires, . plus once the tires have been adobe over... adobe contains alot of clay and will keep the smell in. plus... its old used tires, those have already off gassed and don't really smell anymore. just watch some earthship videos and it will explain that better then i can.
