I carried a telescoping Shakespeare rod with me when I hiked for some months in the mountains. I traded out the line for Trilene 10 pound, and I caught trout and panfish all day long on days I stopped to cook and clean my gear. It is very handy to have collapsible fishing rods in your arsenal.
Most definitely I used to keep an eagle claw pole in my backpack so I could get some cast in before school and after lol so when I saw this tiny one I had to grab it
@@trouthunterz4834 I also have an eagle claw collapsible. There's a lot to be said for collapsible poles. Never tried the "Pocket Fisherman" cuz it looked gimmicky... But I had a Zebco 36 inch rod with a micro mini reel that I used for trout fishing... Loaned it to friend who gave the thing away! I never loan or sell my tools, I've extended that rule to my fishing gear.
I have noodle rods and fly rods with little eyes like this. The little eyes make no sense but are also no problem. This rod here looks so small in your hands... But it did the job! Buying one to add to my arsenal.
Honestly I was worried the pole wasn’t gonna cast well with that small of eyes but it surprised me how well it handled and preformed especially with those bass in the current and yes this pole is super small when folded but extends to about a 5 ft it’s a must have for me

That's a cool Lil rod, I may look into one for kayaking. Cool vid my dude👍👍👍...if you can find a small cheap reel, you may be able to modify the part that fits into the pole🤷
Man this pole is awesome super compact and great for traveling I was even thinking just zip tie a 500 series to it or even try to shave an old reel down to fit thanks for watching and for all your support to the channel much love bro

Man that pole was fun I was looking for a different brand as well there are many on Amazon there is even a smaller one it’s like a 3 ft rod so make sure you check the specks and hopefully yours hold up better let me know bro

Hey man glad to hear your getting back into fishing and I hear you it’s hard to find time for fishing I also am a father of 2 so I know lol but this spot is off of highway 4 right passed Fresno street on the south side of town pretty much any levy in Stockton is good fishing you just gotta hunt them down sometimes I also recommend the levy across from stag high school
