I prefer this way...with the photos coming at me and becoming larger. For me it is more impactful! Music also really good! Nice work

Definitely some couples there, but mainly just men sharing affectionate camaraderie- so nice to see, especially since we don't seem to see that as much anymore. Thanks so much for showing us these pics!

There's also the possibility that two guys would deliberately choose an ambiguous pose as a goof, just to make people wonder.

Toutes ces touchantes photos mériteraient un agrandissement.

Love me tender, so sweet. Photo and time stamps 3:05 from the Nini-Treadwell Collection and one of 315 photos in our book "LOVING A Photographic History of Men in Love 1850s - 1950s". Keep sharing LOVE! 💗💗

Clint/CP another fine crop of ghosts from the past, a click on the shutter and preserved in time. The early images-how did they cope in full one piece swim costumes!! Tis a good job fashions changed to more a swim short well before a speedo was even thought about 😎 Here in the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 even i can remember as a kid being dressed in a woolen knitted junior swimsuit with a Donald Duck sown on patch (im sure its somewhere in the family pics archive my brother maintains 🙄) Tomorrow, Monday, is a public holiday yippee and the spring weather promises to be good too 😎 Cheers DougT 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I have no idea how they work some of those clothes. But most look quite fetching in them. Donald Duck huh? I was always more a Daffy Duck kinda guy. It takes all kinds, though. lol Have a lovely day off tomorrow. Cheers!

Another great look into our past. So darned intriguing, I'm sure most, feel that way. The old questions? Who were they, how did they live, what was work?......Though, would have been nice to have, even an instramental of Otis Reddings - Try A Little Tenderness. But just (as always) a fantastic video!

Thanks for the comment and totally agree...they're fascinating. I find many of the faces showing up in dreams to say hi. As for the song, I did look for an affordable version that we could afford to license. Sadly, we're broke artists and the music publishers want every dime...can't blame them, but hopefully you hummed your own soundtrack. 🌈✌️

Thank you! There's at least one: th-cam.com/video/J9bHjV0kmj0/w-d-xo.html&pp=gAQBiAQB
And a couple of videos we call "Gender Splendor" in the Love Is Love playlist too.
TH-cam's Algorithm randomly decided to start promoting our gay male vintage stuff, so we've been focusing on that. Well, and we (and 90% of our audience) is male. lol
But it's good to know at least a few folks would be down for more ladies...cuz I would love to make more. I think everybody's GOR-GEOUS! :-)
Check back...maybe I'll make one for tomorrow.

I really like your video content but find the zooming and fancy transitions quite distracting from the content. I'd prefer just the closest view of each picture for slightly longer so one has a chance to study and appreciate each image. Maybe just me though.

Thanks for the nudge. Saw your content as I was working on one and decided to challenge myself to keep it static and see how it goes. I'm a bit of maximalist, but usually appreciate the simpler things...just takes me a while to get there. Thanks for your patience. Lemme know how this one works for you and if you have other suggestions: th-cam.com/video/G9D-BQooL_E/w-d-xo.html

Military pictures seem to say it was totally cool to have your arm around your buddy. Gay or not nobody was apparently freaking out over men having body contact. It's hard to know the buddy stories unless someone related it from experience. When you are thousands of miles from home and could be turned to dust at any moment it is not unrealistic to believe that there were many close friendships. Human beings are born kind and loving creatures yearning for some connection with others. The unfortunate situations in the world teach us to be less than that.

Freak out over men having body contact is actually fairly recent. I grew up in the 70's and 80's and we weren't worried about it one way or the other. A little off point but we also never gave a thought to being naked in front of each other. Locker rooms, the beach, getting ready to go out, etc.
